I think she was a manager she’s a native/mexican lady super rude she had braces she was in a grey shirt long black hair. Talked to me like I was dum I don’t know much about cars and she was super rude and had an attitude all I did was ask a simple question about a battery .

I went to visit this location because I had purchased a battery for my 2018 Infiniti Q50 a year prior and I had learned that there might be a manufacturer issue with the battery itself. I spoke with the manager Rene P and informed him of my concern and he promptly dropped everything he was doing to ensure the best possible solution and customer service experience. He informed he had many years of auto mechanic experience and would be able to assess the issue with a resolve to follow. He absolutely provided me with knowledge and what to look for in a defective battery. He quickly replaced my battery with a new one and updated my phone number in the system for better service in the future and locating me in the system.
Friends, as a female with very little knowledge when it comes to automotive repairs , it is highly recommended that you look for someone like Rene to help you with all of your auto concerns. He is truly a gem in the rough and when trying to save money ; knowing where to go and get an honest and experienced opinion will make all the difference in the money you will save a nd time spent looking for answers that are sitting at this location.

It’s been a little over a month now and I’m still trying to figure who should be reimbursing my money for a brand new battery we ended up buying from another company since this specific autozone location has been terrible with customer service in general!
Long story short, my husband went in to see if we still had warranty on a battery we bought from THIS LOCATION a couple years back since the one in our van went dead. When he got there a young woman who was working either entered our phone number in wrong or something but wasn’t very helpful at all and just plain out said “there’s no warranty under that phone number.” And because the service she gave was TERRIBLE my husband decided to take our business to another company directly across the street from here. So we ended up buying a brand new battery elsewhere for $235.
I had this feeling like we still did have warranty with autozone, so decided to call another location. The Tempe location was so nice and took the time figure out if we still had warranty with them. And not even a minute later the kind gentleman over the phone at this Tempe location found that we actually do still have warranty in the same phone number we game the Ray location and it’s actually valid until August 2024, this issue has been ongoing since March of 2024 and it’s now April.
Of course since we already bought a brand new battery from another company autozone supposedly can’t reimburse us for THEIR mistake so you can believe that we won’t be coming here anymore!

Went in to get a new battery. Price was fair. Service was prompt and courteous despite them being busy. They installed the battery for me at no extra charge. Five star experience all the way.

I went in for a battery check and new windshield wipers. Rene helped me find the right wipers, went through battery options with me, and made sure I was aware of the promo for the items I had purchased. He helped me install the new battery after determining my original one was in its last leg as well as installed my new wipers. He also helped my top off my window cleaning fluid and made me aware of my low coolant and some other tips to keep my car running smooth! Super quick and helpful.

Last night I went to this store.The lady that helped was extremely rude and unwilling to help us. She said that we needed to go back to original store to return the item since she couldn't find it in the system.She didn't have a name tag on so I don't her name. She had dark long hair and was wearing a gray shirt. So we went to the other store and the manager at 333 E Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85204 had absolutely no problem helping us and she was amazing. She had told us that all the other lady had to do was click on the other name since there was two with the same name. The lady here was just unfriendly and unwilling to help. This was an absolute terrible experience and unnecessary time that was wasted going to another store because she couldn't do her job correctly.

The store manager Rene is my hero. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I came to the store with 3 separate issues and he helped to solve them all. This is my go to auto parts store!
