I brought in some shoes to be "stretched". The girl there said if this didn't work, I could be refunded. Four days later, I go in to pick them up and they felt exactly the same as when I brought them in. They didn't do anything and took my $15.00 cash! The man said he could NOT refund me (like the girl had assured me!) STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES...WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!! THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES!!

Overall they got the job done, the shoes are comfortable and it was done for what seems like the average price. The reason for 3 stars is some sloppy damage to the edge of the new sole, like it got gouged by the sander or something. Granted I'm not worried about it much as they are beat up work shoes but I should have looked more closely at the time and asked for a discount. I can understand maybe the same lvl of care isn't warranted like some fancy shoes but it would have been nice if it was disclosed and something offered as compensation is all. You can see there was an attempt to sand it out and a slight difference in shape between soles as a result. In my case it's nothing worth anything more than this review and I will try elsewhere next time but learn from my mistake and closely inspect your shoes before you pay, especially if they are something that may not command the same care as a more expensive or nicer shoe. To the owner/worker I would have had respect and given repeat business if this wasn't missed or ignored and someone had been upfront about it. It's a matter of pride in your work, honesty/trust and respect, in my case you could have done better. No one is perfect but it could have been handled better without it being my responsibility to catch and address.

I had one cowboy boot where my dog had chewed the sole a bit. I took the boot in for repair assuming the entire sole would be replaced for the price. $58!!!! Never assume!! when I picked the boot up, a different color sole was cut and glued into the area. It was a different color and no attempt was even made to make it blend.I had to ask for shoe polish to be put over it. I also asked for the price to be adjusted since I was blatently being ripped off royally. NOPE!! I would never suggest this place or ever go back based on my experience. Good luck if you go here.

I don't normally write bad reviews, and I thought long and hard about writing this one. I will not go into the whole story about my experience, because it still makes me upset. So I will simply write... I had a terrible experience patronizing this business. The quality of workmanship and lack of communication on behalf of this establishment was severely lacking. They might do well, with simple work like replacing a show cap or glueing a heel. However, for more intricate work, they are subpar. I would not recommend using this business.

Bought some Nike Roshes from Goodwill a few months back that had a hole in the toe area. I forgot to take a before picture. Brought them in to have them looked at. The shoe artisan offered to get it done within a hour which I appreciated. Picked them up and was happy with the outcome! It was sowed with the same colored material. For $15 I thought that was a fair deal. Staff was great, very accommodating, and welcoming! I'd come back again for my shoe repairs!

I had three pairs of shoes repaired here. A pair of beloved flip flops, the cork insole of leather sandals replaced and foam that had slipped in the back part of leather Born shoes. The prices were excellent but the work was not. The flip flops toe piece was sewed with thread so rough and something like glue that I had to sand them a lot with a nail file to even be able to tolerate them. My Born shoes were sewed with a tough tread that dug into the back of my heels. That could be got around with socks maybe but the sewing was crooked and there were big glue fingerprints in the gold leather part. They look quite bad. The sandals were the best but again had glue running down the soles. I asked for them to fix it and they sanded it off. There’s a rough glue slot I will need to hand sand that digs into my foot. Other than that it was ok. As I said their prices are very good and they keep on schedule but I will have trouble wearing at least two of the 3 pairs again. Not great.

Ruined my shoes. Took in for the soles to be replaced and they painted the top (didn't ask them to do that). Not even the same color, got it all over the buckle, and didn't even paint the whole thing. Completely ruined and this cost almost 100 dollars.

They wouldn’t fix my heel tip because I didn’t have both heels. I have had many heels fixed and never needed both heels. It was out of my way so I ended up just buying new heels.

They did an amazing job repairing and resoling my 2 Ariat dress boots. They matched it to original condition if not better. I can wear my favorite shoes again, thank you!

I am sad to say I have nothing nice to say about this place. I see positive reviews but they are from the PREVIOUS OWNER. Trust me. Steer clear of this place. It's bad news. I was in France and purchased a tote bag. When I got back to Az the brand new bag that had been wrapped in a plastic bag at the museum shop had a loose grommet. A grommet is the metal ring -- think the hole where you put a shoe lace. I knit and have made felted wool bags where I installed grommets. It costs less than a dollar a grommet. It takes about 2 minutes to install at the most. Are you wondering why I took it there/here? Well, I don't have various grommet sizes. To purchase you have yo buy a whole bag of them and it needed one. Simple item with simple labor. I took it into this place. They told me it would take 3 days. I thought...they must be busy. Then they told the person next to me that his show would be ready the next morning. That should have been my first clue that things would not go well. The pick up day was to be Saturday. I decided to wait until Tuesday since I had errands in the area that day. I got there and they couldn't find it. A few employees got involved had finally called their other shop in Scottsdale. The person there wanted to talk to me. He had taken it to the other shop and had to order the grommet. Well. This stinks since I drove from Gilbert to Chandler for no reason. A phone call would have been nice. So I was told--end of the week. Went back the following week...still couldn't find it. Phone call again...now they had to order a tool. I was told we will call you...Another week passes. I am now concerned. I called. The girl said...I called you last week . It was done. I drive there AGAIN. Guess what... they can't find it... AGAIN. Phone call to other shop AGAIN. Guy says, I told you we'd call you. I said ... the girl did. Turned out she was confused and called me instead of an owner of a different bag. So today... I got a call and went to get it. It's been over a month of this nonsense. To top it off.... I was quoted $20. Today they wanted $30. Nope. I refused. I KNOW what the part costs and how to do it. I should have just bought the whole aging grommets and dove it myself. What a S%#%t show. I strongly suggest you drive to another shop-- even if it means it's in Phoenix or Scottsdale.

Definitely go here to get your shoes dyed to match any color dress. Lavette was so patient and understood that the color I needed was more of a purple tone but still on the pink side. She even texted me samples for me to approve. The person who actually dyed the shoes did an amazing job and my expectations were well exceeded.

They fix my shoe perfectly. But remember to take cash they don't take debit cards.
