Please, if you want to deal with a RESPECTFUL, PLEASANT owner, stay away from this place! We rescued our dog 5 months ago (which that part of the process was great since we dealt with the foster) and are needing to schedule the included neuter and rabies. We were messaged by text two weeks after we adopted him to get him scheduled for neutering. We felt this was very soon, as he was less than 10 weeks old at the time. We called our vet and was told to wait until at LEAST 6 months. We decided at that time to just get the rabies done at our vet since it wasn't too expensive.
We received a text again a few months later and since our dog was now 6 months, we felt comfortable making the appointment. A big reason why we also couldn't get to an appointment earlier, was because they only offer the surgery on Wednesday and Friday- drop off 8AM- pick up 4PM. Unfortunately, with two working parents who have opposite schedules and no other help, this was very hard to work around.
We decided on a Friday date that would work with the rescue (again, through text). Once they realized that my dog was not a small neuter anymore, they said that date wouldn't work and they would only have a different day available. I let them know I wasn't sure if I could make that day work but I would check with my husband (I also included some personal details to let them know why). I then received a message from the owner saying "Why wasn't he fixed at 30 days? Sorry if you can't make the date, U will need to do it yourself n pay"
First of all, super unprofessional, and I CALLED right away. I honestly thought I misinterpreted the message through text but realized by calling, GWEN was just as rude on the phone as she was through text. When she told me SHE was the owner, I was flabbergasted to know an owner would talk to someone that way. I was being 100% transparent with her and even trying to be personal and she was cold, rude, uncaring and most definitely lacked professionalism. She basically made me feel like I was neglecting my dog by waiting the timeframe I did (even though if you do any ounce of research, my breed of dog SHOULD NEVER be neutered before 6 months)- by telling me my dog is now "overweight for the requirement". She told me she's had 300 dog owners bring their dogs in for neuters and I was the ONLY person who could not accommodate with my schedule( UM OK GWEN). Even if this is a FREE service- which technically it's NOT since it's paid for with the adoption fee, I would pay 1 million dollars to go somewhere else to have my dog taken care of. Why would I trust you with my dogs life if you can't even communicate with a human and have compassion? SCARY to think she handles people's fur babies on a daily basis.
Read the other reviews because they all match up and do not give this business your time of day. GWEN needs to learn some business 101 and how to communicate effectively with humans.

Sad for the experience we had, I’m blown away by the lack of communication. Do your research before working with them.

We adopted a 8 month old puppy from Gwen she told us that the she hurt her leg while under her and that they would help us pay for the surgery. We adopted the dog brought her home got health insurance for her and brought her to our vet. Our vet gave us the bill. We call up Gwen to let her know what the cost was. Her response was to put the dog down. We responded that if they helped pay for the bill we would reimburse them with our insurance. Her response put her down. I’m confused why offer a dog for adoption that you hurt, don’t bother to help it. Then when someone offers to heal the dog not only won’t you help but you want to kill the dog. This person seriously does not deserve to be in charge of any rescue center.

We purchased a puppy here over two years ago . Our dogs are the best dogs ever had. Also, procedures are included. You just have to follow through on them. Those complaining about not getting a cone an anabiotic’s from the animal clinic. That is something you have to purchase and that is at any clinic. Those are options.

AVOID THIS PLACE! paid $375 for my puppy to get shots, fixed & chipped just to get the run around on everything and not get what I paid for. My puppy had skin issues and fleas to top it off. This place basically just takes your money and doesn't actually care about the puppies well being. SHAME ON YOU GWEN!

First and foremost, my pup Maggie is an absolutely wonderful pup. I strongly recommend getting your pup here. She came to me neutered, all her shots, with food, a toy, collar and leash!! All the people working there are very committed to the love and care of the puppies. Thank God for places like Puppy Luv, saving these pups from being euthanized.

Very disappointed with communication and follow through. Everything was going well until the final procedures. We have yet to receive documents regarding the Spay, Chip and Rabies shot. I have texted Gwen twice. First response was it would be emailed. The second text.....crickets. Not a word.I definitely would NOT recommend North Valley Animals Clinic, their vet. Who sends a puppy home after this with no cone or antibiotics. We had to go to our vet to get proper treatment. We will not use them again. There are so many other options available.

This place does not live up to there commitments. You purchase a puppy for $375. With that includes getting the puppy fixed, chipped and the rabies vaccine. We have had our puppy for 2 months. Seriously have gotten nothing but the run around on all there promises. Very delayed responses and so much lack of communication it's ridiculous. They stole my money by not following through. Go somewhere else to get a puppy.

Adopted our puppy a month ago, and she had a really bad case kennel cough. We reached out to the store regarding their 14 day wellness check and received nothing back from them, even to this day, so we took her to the ER vet that night per the vet’s recommendation. Aside from that, the customer service inside the store was good, and I loved the help I got from the younger girl inside the kennels. I even let her pick out the collar and leash combo!
