I have a shih tzu with full body malassezia who has successfully been treated Duoxo S3 Pyo shampoo prescribed by a board-certified veterinary dermatologist. A groomer suggested I call Iv St. Bernard for a 2nd opinion. Suzanne Marchetti (aesthetician) & Dr. Cliff Faver suggested a myriad of ISB products many of which are serious contraindications for Malassezia because they would feed it and cause a major overgrowth, alopecia, lichinification etc. Malassezia (fungus) feeds on lipids in 12-24 carbon chain lengths. ISB strongly suggested using their olive oil (carbon chain 17) and avocado oil (carbon chain 17-22) products, which obviously would feed malassezia. There are no clinical studies supporting any ISB products, yet Dr. Faver criticized sales reps for presenting clinical data documenting safety and efficacy of their medicated shampoo products (clinical studies posted on NIH's website). Yet he and his aestheticians are indeed sales reps for his products! Either they are unknowledgeable or unethical for strongly promoting products that would be seriously harmful to my dog. Beware when taking their advice. Do not use their products for Malassezia!

If you are a groomer and looking for the best products to use on the pets you groom this company is what been looking for . ISB is not just another shampoo company , they are so much more . 1st The education that you get is going to be career changing . 2nd the Quality of the product truly your customers 4 legged and 2 legged will thank you . 3rd The customer service you will not find better . Best investment I ever made in my salon , for the pets we groom , my staff and for my self .

I work primarily with dogs and cats but when a friend ask me to help with a skin issue on his horse's belly I said sure I'll give it a try. I loved working with these big beautiful animals and my friend was very impressed with the lasting results.
