Why have a system that you put your number in for and still make your customers open an app for digital coupons. No service in the store and a oh well you should have downloaded them at home.So I lost out on about $25 in savings because I should have shopped at home before I went shopping. Your marketing team should be fired.I guess I'm a Frys guy now.

I have twice had a problem with checkout in the last 2 months. Self check out is fine and I use them often unless I'm buying a cart full. Self check does not have the room to check out that many groceries. I have back issues and by the time I load the cart I'm in pain. I asked evening manager to be checked out but she said no one could do it. I left full cart.Second time 2 weeks ago I didn't even think about until I was ready to check out and saw a huge line at Self check. No other lanes open.. I asked the clerk at Self check if he would call someone because I had so much. He said he was the only clerk in the store. ( well that was a great plan) This is just not acceptable. Especially at the prices you charge. Frys was very happy to take my 300.00 and check me out.

Safeway was packed. Only two checkers open. The lines were very long. Crazy!

Spendy...like every Safeway I have been in, but decent meats, and great veggies. You have got to catch the sales.

Nearly every time I go in to buy something on sale, they didn't get the shipment. Why advertise if you are out at warehouse.??? It's disgusting

Tried returning some diapers I bought at safeway in coolidge and the lady working was nasty af. Completely rude and unprofessional. I'll never buy anything from safeway again just because that lady was that awful for no reason.

Every time I go to this particular Safeway it is out of the most common and typically popular items. This is the most mismanaged Safeway ever. The only reason I go back is it is less than a mile from me. Even with this convenience I hesitate to go

My visit on December 16 was a disappointment. With a cart full of about $150 worth of groceries there were no checkout lanes available. I spoke with the manager and asked to be checked out and he directed me to self check out. That’s not acceptable. If I want to check out my own groceries, I will go to Winco or Walmart. I did leave the cart and went to a different grocery store. I have been pretty loyal to Safeway and the affiliated brands but this experience has soured me for a while. They price and position themselves at a much higher level than this experience reflected.

Don't come to this place if you are filling your child's ADHD medication, or any "controlled" prescription. They don't honor Good Rx or any coupons for these dastardly medications. Paid $200 for a month's 50 year old generic.Edit : Thank you for responding. Unfortunately I am unable to figure out how to 'chat' on the website or mobile app. So here is a more complete synopsis. Every 30 days I need to call around to various pharmacies to see if they have my particular strength and type of ADHD medication. If they do, I need to find out if they have enough to fill my prescription. If they do, I then need to call my doctor to fax the Rx to that particular pharmacy , hoping it gets there before they run out. Then I drive to the pharmacy only to find I need to pay over $200 because the pharmacist has decided that your location "doesn't accept any coupons for controlled substances." So I either pay up, or start all over.It was fairly common in the past to find various locations that imposed arbitrary rules like this, but it's been several years since I've encountered it. I asked why and all I got was a vague "we've had trouble with them in the past"??! Who is "them." Good Rx? Coupons? ADHD patients? If I could have a number or email, I would be happy to answer your questions or share more details. Thank you.
