They have a much better hardware section than my local Ace Hardware. I was told they are moving to an old closed grocery store about a mile away from current location.

Horrible experience with homophobic staff- three staff members swarmed us as soon as we got in the store and accused us of shoplifting when we decided not to purchase our items and leave the store because we were uncomfortable. We received no apology upon showing the clerk that we put the items down and were, in fact, not shoplifting. Would not recommend this location if you have tattoos or are visibly queer. Also, they don’t carry plants. Boo!

We had a problem with a shower door drainstrip that came off. Rita went out of her way to find the perfect solution for us so we could get the strip reapplied and the repair done. She has a great personality and a sense of humor to boot! We highly recommend her and her boss and the Carefree Ace!

I love the knowledgeable employees at Ace but unfortunately, the prices are now much much higher than the larger box stores (e.g. I bought something today that turned out to be 43% lower at one of the big box stores). The employees are the BEST; so I hope something can be done about the pricing...

The staff is mostly friendly and supportive. Although, don’t try to buy paint when the one person who can mix is out. I went there today at 3:15 for samples and no one could help me. Better call in advance if you need paint!

Every time I call this store, the employees are friendly and helpful. When in the store, I appreciate everyone making eye contact, they say THANK YOU and Your WELCOME!!!!! Very polite neighbors. Great job hiring exceptional people.
