I paid for secure mail to be delivered to my door with a signature! Instead I got a first attempt letter in my mail box and it had a hand written note stating sign the back and I'll drop it in your box. What is the purpose of having a secure mail procedure if it is not followed.

UPDATE - The REASON for all the problems with mail delivery at this post office is that THE POSTMASTER has absolutely NO AUTHORITY over the delivery process. Yes, you read that right! There are FOUR subcontractors who deliver the mail for this one small town post office that serves a community of just over 10,000 people. So, if a mail delivery person doesn't want to deliver your mail to you, the postmaster can't do anything about it! You have no way of reaching the delivery person's boss because you don't even know the name of the subcontracting business that services your area. You are essentially SOL.We've lived at the same address for 4 years. Suddenly, this post office has started RETURNING OUR MAIL AND PACKAGES TO THE SENDERS because the mail delivery person claims we are deceased, or our address doesn't exist and/or we've moved!For 4 years we've experienced countless episodes of shocking incompetence and inexplicable rudeness when dealing with ththis post office. These people are totally incapable of delivering the mail reliably, they hate their jobs, and they don't give a hoot about their customers.

Attn: Management! Your rep Cynthia has got to be THE worst I have ever experienced in all my days of going to the post office. She’s very very rude and short with customers and I expect if you pay close attention to any of the reviews that come in re her behavior you will soon have to have to sit down with her. Please do so! I live on a dusty road, the speed limit is posted, yet your driver ignored the speed limit signs. I have children who live in the home with asthma. Please inform your drivers to be a good neighbor and drive slowly on dusty roads. I even called the 1(800) phone number and they disconnected my call. What kind of service is this? Especially in a small town like Camp Verde. I’ve also reported speeding drivers in person several times and nothing has changed.
