I grocery shop there once a week. Not by choice but because Smith's is one of the few grocery stores in town.A while back I bought a can BD Almonds and when I went to open it I noticed the seal was broken, so I went to return them. 1st there was nobody at the service desk. After waiting 15 minutes someone showed up. After waiting in line, this rude and crude woman told me that Smith's has a new return policy and you can only return items before 1 week. WHAT? So I need to make sure I eat all the food I buy with in 1 week?I don't get it, some of the people are so nice and most are so crude and rude like this person.

My fiance and I live two and a half blocks away. Spending more than $900 a month in this store is just the beginning. Having to go daily is unfortunate but unfortunately a necessity for the health care and well-being of me. I am a 100% disabled service-connected Army veteran. Last night, mikey, a manager, approached my fiance to inform her that she was not welcome in the store. The reason? Guilty by association. Another customer, to whom we do not live with, allegedly made another employee feel uncomfortable. For this reason Mikey is using to keep us from coming to this store. Unfortunately we are unable to do our weekly grocery shopping in bulk, too complicated to explain, so a daily trip is needed. Mikey's statement of I know you like to come every day is just dumb. What we "like" & what is necessary are irrelevant to the situation.UPDATEWe just got back from Smith's, all is well. The 2 managers ( both nice ladies, I'll update with names later) agreed with us. Whatever the customer did that neither of us were there when the alleged event took place, has nothing to do with us. Both managers asked what the other customer did that upset an employee, the employee no longer employed there, and my fiance, she replied we weren't there we have no idea and it doesn't matter it has nothing to do with us. All is well on the home front have a blessed day.

I’m very disappointed in Kroger/Smith’s in northwest Arizona. There are always bare shelves shelves throughout the store. I don’t remember it being this bad when I lived in Columbus, Ohio.

Incompetent staff. Been going there for over a year. EVERY time they have messed up the different prescriptions, lied and made excuses. I'm done! Avoid at ALL cost! Even the Pharmacist lied to my Doctors office!

Hey there! I don't recommend coming here for money services or guest services. Especially ,for Rita cash services. Today, I walked in & was greeted by no one. I actually had to wait in A grocery line to get somebody to help me. Employee by the name of Dorina was awful. She was impatient & Argumentative. I noticed her demeanor was pretty fast pace.. almost like she couldn't sit still. I am very polite especially when people are having a bad day, but that doesn't give you the right to make snarky comments towards me. I am a customer and you are behind guest services desk. Your job is to serve and to help customers. If you don't believe me, you yelpers can see it for yourselves.I will not return to your store. If your looking for Ria services down the street there is Best Buy market Carinicerias 970 Hancock Rd Bullhead City. They are extremely helpful.

Again- SHIDDIEST store EVER, anywhere! Went in @ 11 AM on Friday- Grapes @ $0.99/lb.? Not today, totally out. ALWAYS out of sale items. And again, the lines for SELF-CECKOUT were ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE END OF THE PRODUCE SECTION! Half of the self-check kiosks are closed, old people that STILL do not know how to use a debit card...old people who don't know how to use the STUPID DIGITAL COUPONS! And just one checker....SO- a lot of people with REALLY BIG CARTS JAMMED WITH FOOD FOR LITTLE JULIO AND ESMERELDA are jamming up the self-check lines. WHEN will Shidd's figure this out and HIRE MORE CHECKERS! The barrio, overall, is just a really crappy place to live. Oh- I abandoned my cart full of food and just left. RE-STOCK, STAT!

I simply tried to go to their website to see if they carried an item I like and I got a " access denied" message. I was not allowed access to this website WTF????THEY CAN GO KMA! I'd go hungry before I'd eat their way over-priced, half-spoiled, food.
