My experience with Donna was wonderful! The atmosphere of her salon is friendly and serene. Donna carefully listened to my description of my hair's idiosyncrasies, reviewed photos of what I had in mind with me--even checking to make sure that our perception of the photos matched--and proceeded with the haircut. Donna let me know what she was doing and why during the haircut. This level of communication during a haircut is unique in my experience and I left feeling great about the quality of the cut and the communication.

Donna gave me a perfect haircut but what impressed me most was what she did with my beard!
She carries some great hair products and beard oil that is a must if your sportin a good beard.

Donna is absolutely wonderful. Her haircuts are the best I've ever received in 65 years. I drive 50 miles each way to her shop.

Five stars, and more if I could!The salon itself has a wonderful feel to it the moment you step in. It is a calm space. Donna, the proprietress, is a calm person.Donna gave me exactly the haircut I wanted from a photo. She listened attentively and made sure she understood me. My hair had been previously abused by a family member: my sister had colored it orange. It was important to find someone that would be compassionate and understanding of what it had been through and what it needed. Donna was just such a person.She threaded some highlights just on the crown, just subtle enough to look natural. She gave me a proper haircut and then jazzed it up with her razor for the look I wanted. I am very pleased!I plan to go back and I've arranged for my boyfriend to go there too. I'm sure he'll be pleased.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

After a long stretch with an easy--but boring--haircut, I went to Red Shoes in Bisbee with a very specific, thought out style in mind. I explained what I wanted and even questioned the cut as Donna patiently and professionally worked on my hair. She did an excellent job, and it is obvious she has the experience and knowledge to provide the best quality styles. Enormously pleased with the results!

On a visit to Bizbee and in need of a cut I went to Red Shoes based on all the great reviews. I must have gone on a bad day because I got a horrible haircut. It has been 6 weeks and my hair is still a train wreck. A short cut that looks like chopped garbage. I had to ask to have it washed and then barely got it styled. I keep waiting for the mess to grow out but nope. Still a mess. I do not normally write reviews and I picked this salon because of ALL the great reviews…but such was not my experience. Be warned. I told her exactly what I wanted plus how I have had luck having it cut in the past as I know my hair. She proceeded to do exactly what she wanted in an old fashion manner and seem to bristle at my suggestions. It's not a terrible haircut; it will grow back but I prefer to work with a stylist who is more open to listen to what I desire. At the time of this posting, there were not a lot of options open to go someplace else...
