I should have left this review a while ago. I've had several issues with both my car and my girlfriends. I take her car in for her because a) she's busy and b) mechanic shops try to take advantage of her because she doesn't know anything about cars.I have found their prices are VERY competitive (I am a shopper and I found they were consistently the lowest so I'll save you time). There were also different things I took my car in for that they could have up-charged me on, like fixing the metal plate on the bottom of my car falling off and they only charged me $20.They have a small, modest shop but I would rather go here 10/10 times then any squeaky clean corporate mechanic shop. Most importantly, they are honest, good people who actually have ethics. If you have a bigger issue with your car, they'll tell you and explain to you what's causing it (or what the possible problems could be if they're not sure) and then let you make the decision based on what the options are. They don't oversell and they don't lie.Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere that has integrity, where you'll get charged fair prices, and you know you're supporting a local family business.

I took my Toyota Tacoma, with about 70,000 mostly highway miles, for the required Arizona "Emissions Testing" and I was told that, "O2 and Cat Not Ready", and I needed to Drive my truck More". At that point, I took my truck for Free Inspections at Multiple auto repair shops and was told that there was nothing wrong with my truck, but it was not successfully completing the Emissions test.At that point, I started looking for Auto Repair shops that are "Emission Specialists". To my Good fortune, I found Thiem Automotive Specialist, They Not only figured out the problem, but also helped me with working with the State of Arizona to share the cost of repairing my Toyota truck.Thiem Automotive Specialist, Thank you so much.

Thiem is the ONLY place I would take my vehicle to for repairs. I recommend to anyone needing vehicle repairs to go straight to Thiem. You'll be so glad you did.

Their automotive shop has been going strong for many years under the ownership, guidance and repair capabilities of owner Brad Thiem. They are great at repairs and diagnostics and have a great customer following. Have used them several times and am highly satisfied with their service and reasonable prices.

I wish the shop would be more transparent with its quotes/estimates. I called in early April 2022 to get a quote to repair an oil leak. I have never thisleak so I wanted to know the pricing range to fix it. I was told to bring the car in and make an appointment. The lady answering the phone was not patient and her tone was rude. That's unfortunate because last year I had another car worked on. I don't have issue with the work just the attitude.

It's a family owned auto shop run by husband and wife. They are very nice and easy to work with. They are honest and sincere with their diagnosis and their pricing does not brake the bank. I will readily recommend Thiem Automotive.
