Original location is fantastic. This one is run by clowns. New donated items priced higher than Amazon. Don't put price tags on things so you have to come back three times. They claim they are sold, but when they sell, they put a sold tag on it, so it is plain laziness.
Didn't water your time here.

They must be high with these prices. Stuff that's old and damage is priced higher than new! I can't imagine how they sell anything or raise any money this way. I opened a scratched and damaged wood cabinet that absolutely reeked of mold and it was marked $299!

Everything in the store is retail priced and a lot of it has damaged box's. Very sad at one time this was a great place to find good deals. They really need to rethink what they are doing.....

Edit: gone from 5 stars to 2, I'm not sure what happened in the past couple years but this IS NOT the thrift store I used to go to. Pricing across the board is ridiculous, you'll find better prices shopping new at Walmart, much less at their thrift competitors like Goodwill. It sucks, I used to LOVE this shop, but I think my most recent visit is my last after seeing how much worse it's gotten. AVOID, even on half off day!
Let's say you're on a budget and you desperately need some furniture, look no further! To date I have gotten a full sized wooden computer desk for $5, a 4 drawer dresser with only minor wear for $5, and a office chair valued at over $200 for $15! You can not go wrong shopping here, give it a look! Don't forget to check out their sale dates as well, they'll extend your savings even further!

We moved close to the Apache Junction location and it quickly became our first place to look when trying to get good stuff for a great price. We have ended up buying and putting a little bit of every department in our home. Major Appliances hardware new clothes jewelry decor furniture and much more has found a home with us! I would strongly recommend starting at any Sunshine Acres store first before considering moving on to the other ones

Very friendly staff, great selection of high quality merchandise at very reasonable prices. As an added bonus Monday is 30% off for seniors!

2nd favorite thrift in the area and your donation goes to people that need it, unlike Goodwill that lines the CEO and corporate pockets!

Nice items to choose from. Very well displayed. Sandy was sweet, and extremely helpful. However the reason for the low score was Bernie! Rude, obnoxious, and a major buttinski!!! Was waiting in line, and another person walked to the other side of the counter where there was no sales clerk. She came walking in and waited on her and just ignore the rest of us standing in line. I continue to wait my turn and was speaking to the cashier about an item that was a for sale on the floor. That's when Bernie decided to butt in, and was nasty snotty and rude. She announced we would not be passing out any sold signs until you actually pay for something. We were actually shopping for several pieces of furniture but once we heard her nasty attitude we left the store completely. If this is the kind of people that you're going to employ, I'll seriously take my business elsewhere!

It's ridiculous how their prices went rocket high after Jean's gone!? Their prices are close to a retail, ridiculous! I bought a lot of furniture and other random stuffs for our 2 Group homes with reasonable prices now I'm not even excited to go to this store anymore! The atmosphere then was way better! Jean is so personable, it seems everyone knows her in that store and you always finds her around talking and welcoming customers! She indeed makes you feel welcome! We miss you Jean!!!

Their donation pick-up process is a joke...8 hour spread on when they are going to pick your stuff up, then when they get here, they claim ( as a senior citizen ), that i'm the one by myself that has to move the sofa from inside to outside, and that they "can't do stairs" ( which was 3 steps to a mobile home )...so they ended up not taking a BRAND NEW love seat...WOW, won't call them again.

If goodwill had a rich uncle this would be it. This place doesn't sell garbage and it is highly organized. I drive across the valley to visit .
