Be smart and stay away. Child abuse is nothing to play with.

This is NOT a good daycare. I have worked in childcare since 2016, and I worked here for 2 years. I witnessed the most disrespectful and abusive behavior towards not only staff but the children as well. I have been face to face and verbally told negative things about several parents and children coming from management and teachers. They put on a fake face for every parent that walks through the door, no matter how good their relationship to the daycare was. The children and myself were treated terrible by several teachers there and when I notified management nothing was done. My 2 year old niece, who used to attended, was being kissed on the lips by the 2 year old lead teacher, in balloon room. It was reported several times to each and every management member. The teacher was allegedly told not to do it, but it continued. My niece kept coming home with bruises in the same place, her rib cage. When her mom asked the 2s room lead teacher she couldn't even get her story straight. She claimed it was big legos, each time, but her bruises were small (a thumb sized circle bruise) and always in the same place. This happened about 3 times. Her mom or I were not notified of all her bites, bruises, or scratches. Management was notified about every incident, and their response was "we have never had a problem with this teacher", which was the same thing I, and several other staff and parents were told. The 2 rooms teacher has pulled children by their hair, clothing, and aggressively by their arms/wrists. The now 1s room teacher has called children, and their parents, abusive language names. She has also thrown big bean bags on a baby to drown out their crying. There is a floater there who is extremely condescending, and aggressive. There was an investigation with AJPD on this center, and disturbingly no charges were pressed. Management there is not true management. They disregard every incident, and do not enforce any true behavior rules on the teachers. They do not send children home sick right away, I had to tell them multiple times that a child was over the 101.1 limit, and they thought it was due to me "not cleaning my room" (WHICH I ALWAYS DID) but in reality it was due to them not sending home contagious children who were sick. The entire school has several violations to state regulations. The infant playground was unusable, and the toddler playground had multiple sharp pieces and unsafe playground equipment. They are extremely insensitive and uncaring. When asked to pick up my niece for her and I's grandfather's funeral I was sent a very long and disgusting message saying no, because I dropped her off 1 morning after leaving the center. How immature for an older lady. I am on her sign out card and emergency contact card, there was absolutely no temp/perm. injunction. So I was legally allowed, but refused to go because I knew they would start a huge ordeal. Everything written in this review is TRUE, and I do hope that you really take this and other 1 star reviews into consideration before enrolling or applying for a job at this center.

Please DO NOT even consider this daycare to place your child in, or work. I worked there for just 2 months, while pregnant, and they treated both me and the children terrible. I was forced to clean with heavy chemicals which can be harmful to the baby, and was given no other option or replacement. The directors are extremely unprofessional and immature. Danielle verbally harassed me and said "It's not my fault your pregnant!" The children there are not learning anything, and are treated with such disrespect. The teachers are impatient, angry, and are rough handling. Christi, the 2 rooms teacher, is who you should stay clear of the most. Please take this review into serious consideration.

Extremely rude phone conversation trying to re-enroll my daughter. Unneccessary attitude when answering my questions. Didn't even mention her name, very unprofessional.

My daughter has made a ton of complaints about This place. She tells me the older kids are bullies here, they don’t allow children to bring lunches. So if your child doesn’t like their food. They are out of luck, just as my child was. After picking my daughter up she told me she had been sick all day because the daycare did not feed her.Initially my ex was taking her here, and had refused to inform me of the name or location of where my child was at.By state law, both parents with custody are to know the location of their child. And it’s also the duty of the daycare to ensure both parents are aware of the child’s location. It took almost a year for me to get the name ofthe daycare. Thanks to custody court. I was granted it finally.

Have been taking my girls for years. Love the staff and I never have to worry about my girls while they are in their care.

I’m so glad we found this daycare for my 4 month old. Staff is excellent. The main ones have been there YEARS, which speaks volumes. The prices are the most affordable that I’ve seen. We only need two days a week for now, which no other daycare allows for infants. Most daycares only take infants on a full time schedule, which we didn’t need yet. My SO and I work full time, but he’s off two days during the week and my mother-in-law has him one day a week. Eventually we will use them full time when he’s older. But to ease him into daycare (and mommy too) it has been wonderful to find a place that allows that. THIS daycare being so flexible makes them far more superior to all the others. I highly recommend and I hope we stay in East Mesa close enough to this place as I want him to stay here till he starts kindergarten.

Lots of teen age kids working here, but over all they are friendly and have been great with my daughter. Super thorough. Clean school. And they accept state assistance if you cant afford child care.

I have two kids in little prospectors for almost a year now! And we love them! Family owned! Wonderful ladies watching over my babies and they are so understanding and very low priced for the out standing service we get! I recommend them with 5 stars

I attended The Little Prospector from the time I wasn't even a year old all the way until I moved on to middle school. This place was like a second home for me and they really made not only myself but my parents feel like we were a part of their family. Even as a kid I knew they were more than just a daycare center. They had structured learning for the children who weren't yet enrolled in elementary school and provided a relatively quiet place for students who were enrolled in school to work on homework until they were picked up by their respective guardians. They provided breakfast before the bus arrived for those students who either didn't have time or the funds to provide it for themselves, lunch during their summer programs and an afternoon snack. This is a place that truly cares about the children they're entrusted with and I can't recommend it enough. I'm proud to have been a part of this family and, if I still lived in Apache Junction, I would send my future kids here.

The staff Zetta Perrin was fired from leaving my daughter unattended at another center and was fired for it. (The center was amazing on taking right measure with the situation). I can not believe she is still working with kids. When i saw her i was "FURIOUS" that she was working here. She let my daughter sit in poop in her pants. She left my daughter in the bathroom while she took the rest of the class outside. Zetta was outside with her class for 16 minutes and did not even know my daughter was missing. When i saw the cameras i could not believe what i saw. If your child's teacher is Zetta Perrin, you need to disenrolled ASAP!! Because your child is next to be neglected by her or worst.

Seems to be a popular preschool. Large parking area & a outdoor playground. No School Signs, so Please Slow Down, since your coming up on a School Zone anyeays.

Absolutely phenomenal pre-school / Daycare. My son has been attending for 3 years. Not sure what Matt Sobek is speaking of. The rates are posted and in 3 years my child has never had head lice. Also, when he's running a fever they call right away. He could easily be teething but it's about making sure all the children are safe just in the case it may be something more. I would highly suggest The Little Prospector. Sadly, I work more than I'd like to and they are just like family and really take care of him. Thank you everyone for all that you do. You are appreciated.

I attended this daycare when I was young and now I work here and it's still the same warm and inviting place. A family run business with great preschool teaching skills and amazing teachers.
