I have worked in the dining room here at Brookdale for a few years and im genuinely excited to go to work every day. I consider most of the residents my good friends, and my coworkers are beyond amazing. We have fun every day and enjoy each others company! We also enjoy working together with other departments to make sure our residents are well taken care of and above all HAPPY. Im proud to work at this location for this company!

Brookdale Apache Junction is extraordinary! I am a healthcare professional that has worked with many assisted living homes throughout the years.

-Genuine, exceptional staff have been working at this location for 19 (Wellness Director), 13 years (Administrator) 5 years (Sales Director).
-Quality food and meaningful fun activities are two of the most important cornerstones of this great community.
-The Wellness Director and her administrative team are dedicated and experienced The heart and soul of this community is the caregivers, the maintenance man, servers and most important the receptionist.
Observe that everyone that works here is actually happy and loves ❤️their job.
Sincerely, I plan to live at AJ Brookdale for post surgery recovery in the future, I’m 66. Love the musicians that provide entertainment here.

This community holds a special place in my heart?. My dad lived here for 4 years before he passed away. I spent so much time here with him and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to be taken care of. A year and a half ago my heart was drawn back to Brookdale AJ, so I came to work here. This community has amazing employees, great food, fun activities and lots of love for all our residents. My goal is to love each resident as they deserve it?. This is the place you want it loved ones to live!!

I have worked here almost a year and I love the work environment and the residents ! Everyone is so kind to each other it’s like a second family to me , I feel like I found a job I fit in . I’m very grateful that I found this job !

I love this Community!!! I have worked here for over 2 years. I call everyone family because they are! The staff is amazing and the residents are incredible! I would recommend Brookdale Apache Junction to anyone looking to place a family member for independent and Assisted living.

I've been a resident here for over eight months. I am very impressed with the facilities and the friendliness that I have found here, not only the staff that I have high praise for, but also the residents I've met. I feel very at home here! I have so many options to be involved with all the different programs and amenities they offer. I am very supported by all of the staff members. I had an automobile accident and thought I had lost my independence. But since I moved here, the bus transportation for doctor visits and shopping, as well as the special events we go to has restored that feeling of being independent again. I have found it very easy to make friends here and find other people with common interests. Our chef, Sarah, and her staff does an exceptional job in providing us with wholesome and delicious meals! I highly recommend Brookdale Apache Junction to anyone who is considering a move into a senior living setting.

Working at this community has been such a joy over the past year. For the first time, I feel like I've found a place to work that truly feels like home. The residents are such a delight, and my coworkers feel like my friends and family. Everyone on staff cares so much about what they do, and everyone here has one main focus, and that is to make the lives of our wonderful residents fulfilling, fun, and active. The food is top quality, healthy, and so delicious. The community itself is so beautiful and full of life and light.

Flys in dining room. No help from maintenance. Sometimes run out of menu items. Air conditioning too cold. Expensive. Good food.

My husband and I moved into an apartment in Brookdale Apache Junction about three months ago. I find that we are much more comfortable and happy than we were when living in a house in the suburbs.It is great to have all our meals served to us restaurant style in a dining room, with no preparation nor cleanup required of us. There are always several choices of entree, vegetables, etc. Soup and dessert are offered with lunch and dinner. I like a lot of vegetables, and there are several of them that are cooked from fresh that are offered every day. I frequently get more than one. Overall, the menu is high quality, varied, and tasty.We no longer have to care for a house because we have our apartment cleaned and our linens changed weekly. Repairs and maintenance are provided by Brookdale.A big plus of living here is the opportunity to socialize with the other residents and the very friendly staff. Unlike in some care facilities, the staff here treats us like social equals, and makes a good effort to learn everyone’s name.I enjoy attending events such as “Brain Boosters,” craft classes, and the weekly “Happy Hour” with live music and refreshments. My husband attends an exercise class and informative lectures.We got to bring our dog with us to Brookdale! She was at first distressed by all the people coming and going, but now she is settling in. She is happy to be with us, and we are happy to have her!We have both independent living and assisted living available here. My husband and I are currently in the “Independent Living” category of residents. As we require more assistance in the future, we can gradually take on assistance for our personal care. We don’t have to move and leave all our friends. There is a nearby facility if we ever need full nursing care.I am glad that so many of our concerns are taken care of in our senior years. I can relax more and enjoy every day’s small pleasures.

This is a safe and caring community. The associates are so helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. Mom has lived here for over a year and 1/2 now and it has become home.

My Mother has been living at Brookdale Apache Junction for 1 1/2 years now after moving from her home in the Pacific Northwest. The transition was difficult for her emotionally but we found all the staff to be very knowledgeable, kind and understanding. They have worked tirelessly to keep all the residents safe and upbeat during the Corona Virus pandemic. They communicate well with the families always keeping us abreast of any changes. My Mom calls her apartment at Brookdale home and is very grateful to live in such a safe and caring community. I highly recommend Brookdale Apache Junction to anyone looking for a good home for elderly parents.

I have had the honor of working with this community for over 2 years. The community is clean, the residents are always smiling when I am visiting there, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Thank you Brookdale AJ staff for providing such a wonderful place for our seniors to age in place.
