Watched a worker google lens an item to price it. Google lens shows the highest asking prices and no actual sold comps. The kids jacket you priced at $90 is barely worth $50 and at a thrift it’s worth $10 maybe. Lmao. So much for “goodwill”.

When asking associates to please open restroom they just make a call over the loudspeaker and call it out but not one person shows up to open the door why don't they just open it,also to find an associate besides the only one in front cashiering isn't easy

The prices on items are often more than retail. They know what is collectable (Pyrex dishes, certain name brand clothes, cast iron pans) and over charge on these items even if they are rusted, chipped and stained. Their prices are higher than in nicer areas (come on this is AJ) When I asked they said it is because of the clientele. Also the bathrooms are locked because of said clientele doing drugs in the bathrooms. Also it is demeaning that there are no dressing rooms. Poor people should not have to spend gas going home and then coming back to return the item if it doesn't fit. This goodwill and the other AJ location smell stronger than most and I leave smelling worse than a strip club. The bottom line is that their greed has taken the fun out of thrifting. This is a non-profit with a rich CEO that claims to help people, but doesn't even give people the dignity of a dressing room and affordable prices. They should change their name to Badwill.

I always find good stuff here. Sometimes things are a little over priced but for the most part it’s all reasonably priced. I’ve only had a few rude associates but every body else is friendly and respectful.

Good luck getting help here. Clothes are either outdated, stained, or falling apart. Told to go to a register for a return, nobody came. After a few minutes I looked back over and was told someone is coming. 5 minutes later, I look over at four employees behind one counter and fifth in front of it. I stare until a lady asks me if I have a return. No, just standing here for fun. Two stars because they actually refill their hand sanitizer.
