It was closed but I discovered that the Star Trek themed Tourist Information site was open. I thought it was great

Items are clean and well presented. It was an excellent collection of artifacts and items and the kids enjoyed browsing them. We especially liked the school setup, as well as the collection of phones. The pay phone booth made me feel old.Great little museum. Would highly recommend.

I’m not much of a Star Trek fan but the museum was very underwhelming. There are only a few exhibits, the green screen experience was closed, and there was a gift shop that was adequate. Unless you are a Star Trek fanatic pass on this one.

We arrived in September and of course, that is not tourist season and Alberta just went back to a higher level for Covid. We did not have our Vaccination information with us because we started our trip before the higher Covid protocols were put into place. The tourism information centre was of course, closed because it was not tourist season. Very pretty town and the starship street lights are a cute touch. We couldn't eat in restaurants because of the Covid protocols so this time it was not a great first impression and I can only rate our visit at 2 stars this trip.

The museum is a volunteer board charged with the preservation of artifacts and documents from Vulcan County in particular Vulcan and district. It is a small museum open to the public during the summer. They have a very interactive museum which takes you back in time. The school room with all the rules teachers had to follow is very impressive.
