  They act like they own your packages, yet I'm the one who spent hundreds or even thousands sometimes, not them. When I know my package is their I want my package now, I do not care about your stupid policy. Well guess what I also have a policy. Give my damn package. Use a little common sense, especially when people have to drive a distance to get their stuff and all because of a glitch on the tracking number they can't give the package. Test my limits and find out.

  Now they charge $16 for random parcel inspection! Outrageous! You pay a shipping fee already, this should be included, on top of this it was $17 shipping fee. And this is why I hate Canada post, amongst other problems.

  Got a tracking notice at 8:31 am that my package was out for delivery, weird because that's the time that they process the packages from Calgary. Got another notice that my package was out for delivery at 9:31 am, at the same time got a notice that a slip was delivered telling when and where I could pick up the item. Go and check my mailbox at 10 am, no slip to be found.
  
  Drive 11 km in to pick up my delivery with the tracking number and the old woman laughed and said "after a 4 day weekend there's no way that will be ready before lunch" Nice that they all got a 4 day weekend but I'm not interested in listening to them complain about their extra day off they got.
  
  I showed her the notification saying that a slip was delivered saying when and where to pick up the item and she said that was an error with their tracking system. I told her that should be addressed so people don't drive tens of kilometers and she said "you can call them"
  
  Interesting that an issue with the system she uses at her place of work is the responsibility of the customer to deal with, not how it is for every other place of business. The perks of being an government employee I guess. She said the package will be ready to pick up after lunch so I said "I guess I'll just have to drive another 22km then" She stared blankly. I repeated it and she said yes.
  
  I drove home and came back a bit after 2 pm for a different older woman (they are all old and slow moving at this post office) to tell me it wouldn't be ready until the next day. 44km driven and no package even though at this point they have had it in the back for 6 hours. Today instead of driving to Olds directly to get groceries I go to pick up my parcel finally and on my way to olds a rock comes off a truck and trailer and nearly came right through my windshield.
  
  Thanks to the inability of several older woman to move a package 30 feet in their building within 6 hours I got to drive 66km for a package and now have to spend hundreds of dollars on a new windshield.
  
  Good on you ladies for supporting your families but the constant delays in service and poor attitude might tell you that it's time to look for a different job. I know you have it cushy with the federal holidays you complain about and pension but maybe there is a reason you are rated 1.4 stars (checked my hometown out of curiosity and the two canada posts their are 3.4 and 3.8 star rating.)

  Weirdest Canada Post ever... This is the only CP ive ever been to where you can't just show them your ID and they bring you your packages. If you dont have a "card" or a tracking number, you're out of luck... I talked to Canada Post corporate office and they say that is indeed Canada Posts' policy, but literally every other Canada Post in AB will gladly do this for you. Super frustrating. Staff are decently nice though

  I have never met anyone more uninterested in doing their job! They will hold your post hostage if the address does not match exactly! Regardless if it is still correct and your name matches. They either do not understand or simply do not care that sometimes the people taking our mailing address down are on the phone and at a call centre somewhere else in the world, and they don’t always understand the preferred format of the Sundre Post Office. Post office staff also don’t care that the items they are holding hostage could be costing the customer a lot of money.The mail carriers are great! It’s just hard to deliver parcels or slips the gate keepers won’t give you.

  This place, by far, has got to be the worst post office I have had to deal with. Past experiences lead me to despise having to pick up parcels.This evening, though. My partner went to see if his package arrived they told him that since it had his physical address on it, THEY SENT IT BACK! This is the second time we have tried to get the package first to be sent to the po box, and they couldn't deliver because of the post office, and now they sent it back this time.This is why when I moved from Bowden, I kept my po box. We both will never use this post office again!

  It should be 000000. They do not rate even a 1 star. Very rude staff. After reading everyone else's reviews I have to agree with all of them. Everyone seems to have the same problems with Parcel pickup even when they have the tracking number.

  I WANT TO GIVE THIS PLACE A THOUSAND 0'S. I have never had so many problems EVER at any other post office either in canada or the usa...NEVER. Every single time I go to pick up a package here (not because I wanted to, but becuase they didnt ship to my drop off location and bought it to the post office instead)...they flip flop like crazy on WHAT IS ALLOWED AND NOT ALLOWED. On days no notice is left..i just had to guess that it was at the post office after I saw it wasnt at my drop off location...and they just required an id to get my package..even though my address on my id was not that same as the drop off location. Today however...the same thing happened...but this time I was refused being able to get my package even though I had my notice PRINTED OUT IN HAND...that canada post sent in order to pick it up..and i used the same id i used last time...which says the name on the package but not the address of the drop off location it should have gone to...instead they said the buisness owner of the drop off location had to come and get my package....THOUGH ITS NOT IN HER NAME AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN A MILLION YRS AGO or THE ENITRE STAFF REPLACED WITH EXPERIENCED WORKERS. worst place ever.

  Not surprisingly but once again more wasted time with the terrible staff at the Sundre Post Office. It is unfortunate that for a small town they can’t do better. Every other post office is sooo much better so it clearly isn’t the job it’s the people. And maybe a smile would go a long way, cause being grumpy and lazy is not a good look. So disappointing.

  if I could rate this post office a zero i would. They don't know how to do their job. its truly radiculas dealing with stupid. Canada Post really need to train these women, so Annoyed. all I can keep thinking is . Stupid. can't even explain it on here how hopeless the sundre location has become. Proper training would be a start. FML

  Worst service and unprofessional staff. I order my stuff and they didn’t deliver at my place they all stuff delivered on post office and post office staff said me we can’t give you because my address is different. So why you deliver on post office why not you delivered on my place .

  I’m not surprised that there is no positive reviews. Absolute horrible service, lazy and don’t care about helping people. I would give 0 if I could. Absolutely Disgusting.

  There is a woman that works here who clearly does not like her job or people,or maybe herself?Who knows? It's just always unpleasant to pick up my parcels.I have a speech impediment due to oral cancer,sometimes I slur my words. I am not drunk at 10 am,even though her judgey,presumptive stare burns through to my soul lol Patience,kindness and focus is a collaborative effort.She is rude and condescending.
