I have a 5 gal fish tank, which means there’s some fish that can’t live that tank. I’m no fish expert, so I always like to ask questions when I’m purchasing my fish to ensure I’m not purchasing a fish and then accidentally killing it. I’m maybe 90% sure it’s not said in the employees job description anywhere that they have to have knowledge about the animals they sell. However, one of the employees I spoke to was very well knowledgeable when I spoke to her. She actually refused to sell any fish that required a tank larger than 5 gals. I’m sure some people would be upset about this, but to me that really shows that the animals in the store will go to great homes, the pets in the store will be healthy and socialized.
Another time I had went there I purchased a fish led light. I took the box home and it was unfortunately empty. I took it back to the store and explained what happened. I was a little nervous there would be nothing they could do as I never checked if the product was in the box just by simply shaking it. The lady that helped me though was super understanding and replaced my empty box and made sure the new box had the light.
Every time I go there there’s always really nice people working there. Whoever is doing the hiring process is doing an amazing job!!

I got the package where they wash, deshed, brush teeth, clip nails and do anal glands.
My dog was scared of the fan/dryer so she was not deshed. Should have used a brush since I paid for it. They didn't do her anal glands or touch her teeth.
Horrible service. I called after 2.5 hrs and was told she was done but why wasn't I informed when she was done ?

Petsmart is becoming a joke, and going back in time. Return policy for online orders says to make a return, you need to “bring the product in its original packaging plus the shipping confirmation email as proof of purchase to any PetSmart store”. They would not return the product even though I had the confirmation on my phone, because I did not have the slip that was attached to my order upon pick up… Even the staff say the system has gone back in time… The manager here is clueless. Doesn’t know his store, or what he is doing. When I asked the staff member about the current promotion for $15 off my purchase of $99+, she had no idea what I was talking about. Called the manager, and he had to look on his phone for it….

I feel I need to share my experience with my pet that I dropped off. I have a dog named Louie He’s a Malti Poo 7 pounds. I’ve had him groomed at Petsmart over the last few years. About four months ago I dropped Louie off for a full grooming, I know that he gets a little bit upset when they go to quick with him. I asked the groomer to take their time and make sure he doesn’t get upset. He gets a little anxious. The groomer agreed and I thought everything was great. I sat in the parking lot for about 10 minutes then drove away. I barely got to the hospital area and they already called me and said Louie is done they did as much as they could and to come pick him up. This was not normal as grooming normally takes a minimum of an hour. When I got there, Louis looked horrible. I’ve never seen any grooming like this in my life. He was shaved in certain parts and long and others. He looked devastated. I felt horrible for my dog, I asked the manager what went on and she said Louie got a little nippy. I mentioned to the manager that they were supposed to give him a little bit of a break in between which they obviously did not. I have the timeline on my phone from when I dropped him off the phone call was received and I know it was no more than 15 minutes at the most. I told the manager I was not going to pay for the massacre of a haircut that they did , I was super upset and the dog was even more upset. I went to bring my other dog in and they denied me access as they said I didn’t pay my bill. Bottom line is I think the manager should not be employed as she does not know how to treat a client. Most of all our dog was very traumatized by this. Absolutely uncalled for the manager treated me with a lot of disrespect and I know they have the phone call recorded they’re more than welcome to play it to anybody and everybody. But to me, I will never go back there. I think they are absolutely horrible. There was no way to speak with the manager and have some common sense in the situation. The groomers themselves were quite respectful, but the manager absolutely should not be dealing with pets absolutely no compassion. And straight out lies. I’m more than happy to provide photos. They were rushed and they did not take the pet into consideration. I would give them a zero rating minus if I could.

My dog never had problems at the groomers before until one day they must’ve nicked him or something but ever since he has not been the best at the groomers, and I am aware of that. But we have gone there for 2 years, we have two dogs and we were faithful customers but a couple months ago they barely even tried to cut our dog and sent him home looking terrible, he was uneven and his legs were bigger then his head and he looked like he had been tortured. He was there for less than 15 minutes before they called my father saying to come get him. I don’t think they even tried to calm him down or take their time on him. After only being there for 15 minutes they made him look terrible, poor dog was so upset. Then they have the audacity to still charge us for the half done cut they did, and when my dad refused to pay because they didn’t even do anything but ruin him, PetSmart went behind his back and called my mom telling her no one paid, with no explanation of why. After this we stopped sending our one dog there but continued to send our other dog because we never had problems with him. He’s had several appointments since then and we had him booked for one this week but they called my dad and said they couldn’t take him anymore because of the unpaid haircut from our other dog, to which is why I am writing this. Don’t bring your dogs here, they don’t care about the animals they just want your money, I’d rather pay for some place that actually cares and takes there time on my dogs then a place that only cares about the money. The manager was nothing but rude and didn’t even talk to us about compensating for how poorly they treated us and our dogs, they only rudely denied us any services at PetSmart, good riddance honestly. I’d rather support a small business that actually cares about the dogs. You’ve lost a faithful customer .

Never again. The groomer took over 4 hours and cut his hair way too short. ( not what I expected).Cooper wasn’t himself for two days. Then to pay top $. We gave them a chance, never go back.
