Had purchased Torilla wraps that had a rancid smell.
Purchased multiple items that were past the due date.
And the prices are one of the highest.
Also, the fresh basil is kept in the fridge. So it bruises before you even take it home!
Kids working there that are always talking to eachother. Obviously, not going through the shelves to look for expired products.
Take some pride in your work, and business!

I think this is now my favourite grocery store. I always associated the smaller Loblaws locations with being overpriced and not having everything I need in stock. This particular store always seems to have great deals, the store is clean and well-stocked (but not too big). The staff are also extremely nice. Highly recommend.

Independent has good quality food - meat, deli, produce, etc. Although some items are more pricey, there are a lot of deals to be found! Also, Lou is the absolute best!

Excellent selection and very friendly and helpful staff. Great local selections too and the deals they have are sometimes better than Walmart or Costco. Well done!

I bought a bag of bacon that was on sale, when I opened it, it was slimy I've never seen like that slimy bacon......I had to throw away about 10 bucks for nothing. I'm not sure if they're keeping the food properly.

Produce is often of very very bad quality. They start closing self checkout machines before close, so you can end up waiting in line for no reason. Very expensive store, which is bizarre since there are 3 cheaper alternatives with better quality in a less than 5 minute drive. Bakery is significantly worse than Safeway or Saveon. There will often be charities outside of the store harassing you as you walk in.

Nice people working there. Clean store. Good customer service and good prices on sale items. I wish I loved closer so I could shop there on daily basis. All employees said hi and smiled. I found some marked down items that I needed. They had coupons and fresh fruits and vegetables. They also had a very nice flower section.

This place is a rip-off. Shop at Costco or Walmart if you want to spend less.
Shop at real independent grocery stores and check dollarama for a few items at nearly half the cost.

I bought chicken and it was moldy and there were HOLES in the chicken it was also rock hard I just wanted a good lunch!
