Went here to return something brand new in package.. only I couldn't locate the receipt. Which sure, I understand is annoying as a customer service agent... But..On the Rona website it states their return policy with and without a receipt "Merchandise without the original sales receipt or not in its original packaging may be accepted at RONA Inc’s discretion. In such an event, the lowest system price will be refunded as a store credit/gift card." However, trying to return without receipt at the St. Albert location I was told they will not accept the return. She told me if I can pin point down to the exact day when I purchased the item with my bank statement they can look it up and do the return... Except I utilize many Rona locations depending on which is easiest at the time so I could not pin point using the St Albert location for this specific item. After I brought up the Rona return policy online she still refused and then I went to the West End location and they accepted my return without any problems.Which is odd because according to St. Albert location, no Rona will accept return without receipt.

May 10th, I placed, paid for and received confirmation of an online order, to be used for a project early this week. I never received a phone call to confirm, just an email. I received an email again yesterday, telling me that my order cannot be processed and I should go to the store to purchase. I called Rona St Albert and they told me that I could not be reached (email or phone) and my ordered was subsequently cancelled. When I told the customer service lady that the reason I was calling was because they actually sent me an email, cancelling my order ( ie. my email does work) ...she became puzzled...and told me I can repurchase online and she would action my order.Later, when I did go to re-order, I discovered that the Coupon Code that I was using ( for $150 off of my order), expired on the 11th of May...the day they cancelled my order. Coincidence...I think not.Poor customer service and business practice. Never again.

Wow. Went to get paint mixed and the color was clearly a different color. The girl working rolled her eyes and said ‘well you don’t have to take it’. As in, too bad that’s as good as it will get. Went to a local paint store and was treated so much better. Terrible service.

Staff are amazing and almost everyone offered to help me this evening even though I knew what I needed and where it was! Found some great deals on stuff I needed for my patio and dining room renovations too. Can’t say enough good things about this location.

I needed to get some items from the Lowe's in St. Albert. This is the third time that Dave has helped me within the passed year (I think he works in the flooring department?). I've been meaning to write a review to let his Superiors know that he has been extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and above all he genuinely seemed to care. I would highly recommend him if anyone needs any training in dealing with customers. In an era where one usually gets "customer service" from am an apathetic employee at best, it was refreshing to served by someone whom made my experience at the hardware store enjoyable. Thank you Dave!

Only place that had stock on rodent deterant I wanted. Staff was knew were it was in store. Till was available and I was in and out in under 10 minutes

5 stars for Arlene!!! We were trying to rent an insulation blower and buy insulation...the guy at the pro desk, Matt, gave us paperwork but didn't seem to know what to do and then took off and we never saw him again. Arlene came over to help out and even though it wasn't in her department, she made sure we got what we needed and saw it through!!! She was really helpful and if it hadn't been for her, we might still be there!!! Thanks again, Arlene!

Marietta was very helpful when I contacted the store regarding an issue I ran into with a seasonal product (gazebo). She connected me to James who went above and beyond. James was super friendly, professional and shared his trouble-shooting knowledge that rectified my issue. I don’t post google reviews but I really needed to with this experience because I was blown away by the level of customer service provided first by Marietta and then by James. I don’t know their last names but the location in St. Albert will surely make sure you are a satisfied customer.

I was there yesterday , I was helped by Lynn From lumber and building materials , her service was excellent ,She helped me always with good smile , she offered me coffee while waiting for the quoteI have been buying stuff for my new house and I am a person who looks for prices … Lowes so far has impressed me over Home Depot and other local retailers . I have found better prices with them and the service is the best !!!!

Went to Lowes St.Albert today picked out and ready to purchase a washing machine. Spent approximately 40 minutes in the department not one sales person to be found. Finally found and pushed the customer service button. After hearing service request announcement half a dozen times we finally left the store empty handed. Will be purchasing elsewhere.
