I used to shop here a lot more when they had fitting rooms. Now they are overpriced. If you can try it on great. If not, no use buying it. I live 1.5 hours away a real inconvenience to return it. Plus you get a store credit, not a refund. Argh!

For a place that gets its clothing for free and has a majority of self-service tills, you sure have the audacity to charge $15.99 for a USED and DONATED t-shirt. Multiply that by the 10,000 shirts, that's $159,000.00 in FREE merchandise you guys get. You pay very few people, you make us do our own work, and charge those kind of prices for used clothing. You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of people.

Very disappointed to see the steep price increases. I provide my lightly used items to this store for free so they can sell them for a low price. Instead I go in to find t-shirts for $18, I can buy a new t-shirt for less than that, just awful!I will no longer be donating to Value Village, I'm going to make the longer trip to Goodwill because at least they still realize they are selling used clothing for people who want or need to be thrifty.

Found a couple neat things but the checkout process is now 99% self-checkout. Big lineups. Everything grinds to halt when there's a coupon, a missing label, a computer screen language barrier or a non tech-savvy shopper. Service level down...but not the prices. ?

Some days you really win; there are good finds. Sometimes, the prices are not so much of a win.Use bathroom before you go or you will need to track down an associate to get them to open for you.

It was OK but wash your hands everything felt grimy left my hands feeling sticky. Not the cleanest place but lots of halloween costumes. The racks were pretty messy too.

Used to be a great establishment. Entered to buy a bunch of back to school clothes, but was shocked to find they took out the change rooms. I am not interested in guessing whether or not something will fit only to be left with a store credit so I left. Will shop elsewhere with this in mind ?

They sell used electronics and they won't take it back it's not working properly. They don't have the proper tools to test some items...voltage or amperage meters..Just an old plug in extension cord and viola you just wasted 14.99.....The bathroom is also gross. There are electrical wires hanging out near a sink...not to code.Overall prices for used broken stuff surpass what new clothes cost at Walmart or even Superstore .The employees are brainwashed to thinking they are helping in " up cycling" used old junk that should be burnt or thrown out. ...Trying to exchange items all the time because they no longer have fitting rooms...Goodwill has better exchange and return policies and still carries a fitting room.Less of that musky old clothing smell and cleaner facilitys...to certain extent...this place needs to be shut down and hygiene needs to be brought back. The crusty piss smell is a bit much in there .

Good selection, racks are so full it's hard to go through them. There are NO change rooms, I didn't purchase a couple items because of this.

Very clean and well maintained stores loaded with all variety of goodies. Great shopping experience for me being a senior on discount Tuesday.

Firstly, there are no change rooms. There are no excuses for no change rooms. When I had to listen to the excuses panel change rooms, I felt shameful of our society. Really is this how you want to make me feel? This is my experience at value Village is my last. There’s other thrift stores that are more progressive, or at least not regressive.

Sherwood Park location
They intentionally sell broken electronics, I had no idea there was a testing station. Refuse to return the broken electronics claiming they test everything. Obviously not. I hope people are aware that Value Village is NOT not for profit and only donates a small percentage of their earnings to charity. They get all their stock for free so this company makes ALOT of money . Take your donations to goodwill or Salvation Army.

Pricing is outrageous for clothing, couldn’t believe the cost for most items. For a store that gets most of its items for free, it’s shameful. Also, they removed fitting rooms and you cannot return items for refund or store credit. Extremely greedy practices all around.

I wish i would have started a company that collects free stuff and charges 60 to 70 retail making fat stacks for producing nothing, also i love how covid convinced them not to have change rooms because there amount of thefts have dropped, thieves like un-value village hate competition.
