As always, Ryan was down to earth and unpretentious about his wine knowledge. He managed to entertain a large crowd of newbies and wine lovers alike with his stories and humor.

“Very clean and well run store, the owner Shami is very friendly and even brought in some selections that I said I did not see on his shelves. He truly does listen to the feedback you give him in order to have the best selection for his customers. Their prices seemed to be high but then I noticed that the listed prices already include GST, so even though the listed prices may be higher than the competitors, it ends up being the same if not cheaper once you are at the register.”

“The best thing about outside the city liquor stores is when they are attached to a connivence store that sells tasty Pizza which country merc does. Eagle spirits Liquor store east on Wye Road 20 minutes from Sherwood Park isn’t a huge liquor store but it does have a diverse selection of liquor where you can even find Alberta Craft beer options. I couldn’t resist myself and got some Campio beer. I can’t resist local products I have never tried made around where I live. Maybe it is working for the local ice company all these years. I love local. I love little convenience and liquor stories like eagle spirits and country mercantile.”
“I bought 4 bottles of nice red wine for over $50 so I received 10,000 points for that plus another 10,000 fir spending over $50 and a boys of 500 points for buying 6 beers. Thats worth $25 towards my next purchase of some nice white wines.”

“I usually go to a big box liqour store but saw a flyer for Ace Liqour and thought I would give them a try. Wow there prices and selection were great. Prices were better than big box stores on both products I purchased.”

“They are my neighborhood liquor store, but I would continue to come here even if they weren't. The guys who work here are great- they are all so personable and friendly. I only ever really buy wine, they keep a lot of my fave kinds in stock and rotate their sales so that I always have a Malbec on sale. It's small, but has everything you need and their prices are good!”

“I actually go out of my way to go to this liquor store. Jared (cashier) is one of the greatest kids I've ever dealt with in customer service. I stood in line behind an elderly man who was having a few issues and took longer than usual. Jared was so patient and understanding and just kind to this man!!! I told him so as well but this kid should get a raise!!!! He definitely deserves recognition....you just don't see that sort of kindness and patience with seniors anymore. 5⭐'s for that kid!”
