I went to get a camp ground here today after calling the day before informing me they had availability and since I haven’t been able toSecure a pet friendly place in cochrane since my lease ended. I was excited. I discovered they won’t allow any vehicles over 10 years old. I’ve put work into my rv and renovated it and it’s old, but it’s fun and creative. Cochrane is impossible to find a place as it is and I have the money and full insurance and their only reasoning was “it makes the camp ground look bad”. What happened to having fun camping. I have camped there before previous years and this new rule makes no sense. I understand that older vehicles pose some safety issues, but I wouldn’t put myself in a vehicle (home on wheels) I didn’t feel safe in. I’m sure they have no problem storing my rv for tip top dollar in the yard, but when me and my dog just want a safe place to go no go. Last I checked the campers are not all under 10 years old.Camping isn’t what it useTo be. How can people afford to buy a new rv every 10 years anyway … I feel like total discrimination. My 1980 is still on the road I think that says something. I’ve enjoyed camping here in the past and I don’t recommend anyone goes back. Anyone who embraces the enjoyment and adventure of the outdoors and doesn’t discriminate I recommend boycotting this place.

Don't waste your time going out there if your Rv is 10 years old or older. my daughter and I got turned away because of this. You're a little campground on the side of a loud ass highway and nothing for kids to do. You're trying to bring in these house on wheel's but I guess you haven't figured it out they all go stay in town at rivers edge, which had zero problems taking my money. Thanks anyways.

Perfect place to stop before camping or going out on the lake. Liquor, diesel, premium fuel and camping supplies all in one place. They also sell fireworks which is worth the trip alone!

Nice little shop with just about everything you could need for the basics and a summer treat. Prices are reasonable, especially given the distance from a major urban center.They have fire wood, trade-in propane canisters of various sizes, and a decent selection of fireworks.

I have stopped here a few times. And I was passing through so I gave them a call to know fuel prices ahead of time. Was told 134 which is the price everywhere around in cochrane. So I chose to keep going until I get there to be told it's 140 and that she didn't look at screen properly.So not very impressed at all. But I do like this place, usually. Disappointed in the dishonesty.ThanksEdit: well Kevin should of probably not say anything. Or stay away from the company's reviews. It was 3 star now changed to 1 star because that's just a rude reply. Yes could of been a mistake. But now that reply was uncalled for.Thanks again.

Great hospitality and cute RV/camping spot. Good location, accessible but not right on a big highway. Snug in a little forest but still could see mountains. Loved our time and found all we needed. Thanks again!
