Friendly staff and many items not found in most pharmacy stores. At some point they may need to expand or move to another location as cancer and other surgeries increase.

Great pharmacy. I can’t say thankyou enough to the pharmacy team today who went very much above and beyond to help sort a prescription problem for my epileptic dog. Just absolutely incredible service and I’m so very grateful. What amazing pharmacy staff!

I was looking for a prescription knee brace for my knee that I had originally injured while skiing in 1987. I had ripped my ligament (HCL) but was not diagnosed right away. It took approximately until 1994 for the cartilage to to stuck in my knee joint; during the operation. To remove the cartilage, my ripped HCL was finally discovered. The next operation happened quite quickly (with in the next 12 months); it was to remove my tendons to make an HCL ligament which helped a lot but I then had no tendons. I was advised to wrapped my knee if I was planning on skiing so as to not reinjure that knee.
My knee was never very strong again but as long as I wrapped it, I was good as far as not injuring it again.
Fast forward to 2022, I had rhumatoid arthritis in all my joints, including my knee. I wasn't skiing anymore so I never wrapped that knee and as far as the arthritis, it was worse in my other knee that the injured one.
I was in constant pain with my knees, and every other joint in my body; I was diagnosed with rhumatoid arthritis in every joint with it being the worst in my neck and lower back (neither have bothered me besides a pinched syatic nerve on one side of my lower back, which started in 1993.
I did reinjure my knee, though, by the end of 2022 as I was walking across the street to the pain clinic for my weekly check up and chronic pain medication. After an xray, MRI & ultrasound, it has been determined I need a knee replacement. This is when I went to Millerdale Pharmacy to fill my prescription for a partially rigid knee brace to hopefully keep my knee from twisting and buckling again.
I went to Millerdale Pharmacy on the recommendation from my regular pharmacist and am so happy I did. I was looking at what I thought were the knee braces I had been prescribed but didn't know for sure what kind of brace I needed. I didnt have to ask for help, the confused look on my face was probably enough. Staff at Millerdale Pharmacy helped me choose the most comfortable knee brace for me, which ended up having to be ordered in. The staff kept in co tact with me for a few months after having my knee brace, making sure it was still the right on for me.
I do reccomend Millerdale Pharmacy for numerous hard to find health related products. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable; if they do t have what you need in stock, they are more than happy to order it in.
Thanks again Millerdale Pharmacy Staff for your caring and compassion and competent help. Because of the only chronic pain medication that I was told I can be prescribed, I have gained an enormous amount of weight and will be needing g a larger knee brace which I will be going to Millerdale Pharmacy to help fill it for me. Hopefully I will finally be closer in line for the knee replacement surgery I need on the left (as well as shoulder replacement surgery on the right side). I know everyone has to "hurry up and wait for surgery, now, but I do want to say, if something could be done to shorten wait times, patients like me won't be in such bad shape by the time we finally get our turn on the operating table.
Thanks again, Millerdale Pharmacy for all your help in the mean time to make my wait as comfortable as possible.

By far the absolute worst place in Red Deer to get a brace. My physiotherapist ordered me a range of motion brace, these clowns put me in an offloader brace causing further damage to my knee. A lack of educated people and a poorly trained staff ensures you enter this place "AT YOUR OWN RISK". Dismissive owners, poor staff and a horrific experience ensures I will never be back.

What gives you the right to charge triple the cost for bandages. Your providing a service to people In Need at a time of need when there sick and at a low point. You are a scammer.

This pharmacy doesn't care about your health. If you are looking for hormone therapy they will push high priced solutions and when it is time to review your "care plan" they leave you hanging. In speaking to said professionals in this building, they are sarcastic and dismissive as you are the issue and it's your fault THEY cancelled your appointment while failing to reschedule you.I'm disappointed.Your response is ridiculous... you didn't have a flood at the time you cancelled my appointment. Furthermore, the price is not the issue. What is ... you pay the high prices and can't maintain the therapy so it's a waste of money, added health risks and wasted time.

I have to say I have never come across someone on pharmacy team to be so personable and helpful. Darn it, I wish I would have gotten her name. They filled a prescription for the first time for me and was very thorough in how to use it, asked me questions and she was very engaged and caring and didn’t make me feel rushed to get me to pay and move onto the next. Maybe it says something for going to a privately owned, good ole neighbourhood pharmacy instead of a big box/corp one. Highly recommend!

I was recommended to this pharmacy by my doctor. Great pharmacy and service. I look forward to coming back in a few weeks. Be aware the parking lot is a paid lot now. Be sure to pay for parking before going into the pharmacy.
