“I'm so glad I stopped by American Eagle at Bower Mall in Red Deer on May 4, 2024! Eric was incredibly helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for. He's a very knowledgeable associate, and the jeans I bought for my husband fit him perfectly - he was amazed by how comfortable and well-fitting they were! “I just want to say thank you so so much to the two lovely ladies that were working Black Friday for the closing shift, I called in asking if they could do me a big favor, and that was to get 9 items ready for me so I can just come in right before close and pay for them. Since the store closed at 8 and I was off at 7pm I was not sure if I would make it on time. Turns out I did and shopped around some more and got more then expected but totally worth it. “On Feb 9, 2024, bought lovely Expensive Leather Jacket, right away, exactly as needed. 3 Minutes. I noted to Manager at time of purchase the zipper was a struggle. The staff, including the Manager told me'it was stiff becasue it was new."I took the coment at face value.Wearing jacket that evening, working the WKK zipper continued to be a struggle. Three of us were on it.I expect to wear this jacket for 20 years. I needed a good zipper.. WKK is a popular world class zipper, except this was a change with mechanism that clearly did not work.I went back next day and asked for my money back. The clerk on Saturday Refused. She was not the same person who sold it to me yesterday."Company policy: you wear it, you own it.'They did agree to install the standard YKK zipper I had in nearly all my cothes in the last 40 years. And ship it to a Kelowna, BC. Leather Boutique. I live in Revelstoke BC and go to Kelowna once in awhile. I can pick it up in a month or so.Well, OK. In light of the refusal, I was pretty well over the barrel.I see in the review, and as the Clerk let slip there is a history of this new type of YKK zipper. Has issues.Frankly, this was a problem I just did not want to worry about given it's expense etc. I get my money back right now at Costco And I get top quality stuff. I got pretty hot.I hope they back up thier word, and make the repair as promised.I could be dead soon.”

I was completely satisfied finding appropriate shoes, pricing and making my purchase at the till. “Shyanne is amazing! I’ve went in to Suzy Shier/Le Chateau a few times in bower mall in the last few months looking for work clothes and outfits for weddings and she always finds me the best outfits. Normally I struggle trying to find something I like and feel comfortable in but she always nails it for me. She really knows her stuff! So friendly and funny too!”

“Wicked shop! Great clothing options for me and the missus. Took some great hats and hoodies back to Australia, along with other trinkets. We’ll be rocking “Dirty hands, Clean money “ in ??. The staff was amazing, let us browse alone and helped us when we looked like we wanted it.”
“This store has a wide selection, but it's a bit overcrowded in spots. Nice sale section at the front of the store. I was able to find some decently priced gems in there. The staff were kind of "meh" - not awful, but not amazing either.”

I wrote a review 2 days ago I need to redo , I walked in 2 days ago with a bad attitude, looking homeless as usual , and was asked actually rather politely to not touch the leather , if I was going to pick them up to hold them a specific way .... that annoyed me , I was thinking this guy thinks I'm homeless and I threw my hands in the air and walked away ,........ wellllllll today I decided to go back with my better half to look, as we most definitely did buy shoes from journeys instead of this store ..... well I saw their sign today that asks just as nicely to not touch the leather , so that had nothing to do with my appearance......... I will most definitely be buying clothes and stuff for my kids here for the Xmas season and any other season that's to come , this store sells nice things , and the owner obviously cares about his products before they are bought ..... I'm glad I came back for round 2 today”
“There was a lady in the store tonight that exemplified friendly customer service. I was in the market for a new pair of jeans, & she went over and above to help me. Although the store didn’t have what I was looking for, she advised me to take pics of what I liked and check online for sizes because there’s free returns in-store, then she wished me luck on my hunt. An hour later she caught me walking by the store on my way out of the mall, sincerely hoping I found what I was looking for & taking interest in my purchase. I’ll make sure I shop at Below The Belt again & kudos for her for being a great human. Cheers!”
