So I gave this place a second chance after their district manager/trainer contacted me to let me know that yes they do and should match prices. But burned again yesterday by a different associate that wouldn’t price match a current sale price from a competitor. The staff here are obviously not trained about their policies. So I went to the Ace Liquor Discounter on 32st and informed them of this and they said yes that store should’ve price matched. I’m not giving this place a third chance.

I have purchased there for many years and have always experienced very good service. They have a good selection and chilled wine. I have price matched in the past and the staff has always accommodated the price match (as long as it’s a current sale). I went in about a month ago to price match a competitors price for a bottle of wine and was shocked that an employee wouldn’t price match a current sale from a competitor. So I went to Ace Discounted a few blocks away and they price matched the current sale. I then risked it tonight and went back to Ace and inquired about the price match. The same lady stated no they wouldn’t price match me, although since my original incident and the current incident, different sales associates have price matched for me. So I drove 2 blocks to Wine & Beyond that wound price match for me. I’m guessing this associate either doesn’t know her businesses policies or she is related to the new owner (who doesn’t want to price match). Either way, I will drive 3-4 blocks to the same company that will price match me. Because of this associate, you have lost a long standing customer.
