Customer service was belittling and concerning. Kyle & the owner were horrible, Mary was great. I came inside to pay for gas 22yr female, Caucasian, nice clean appropriate clothing, but I had a handful of change. It was in one part of my wallet & less than $5. I politely came up to the counter and explained I only had change & opened my wallet to show him. I told him I didn’t know the exact amount & Kyle immediately refused to count my money then quickly denied helping me all together. He said “I’m not counting your change. You have to count it.” with a snarky tone and said why ? It’s your job, you have to count people’s money regardless? Why would I count it when you will have to count it again ? He laughed & replied “no I don’t.” I was confused why he was being so rude, I’ve never experienced someone denying to count money? I told him that “If I gave you $20 in loonies you would still have to count it” - to which he continued making multiple comments of “im not counting your kiddy bag of change”, “children can do it, so can you”, and as he was saying all of this he was already helping the person behind me & that customer was laughing at me - which only encouraged Kyle’s funny comments more. I didn’t understand why he was being so unnecessarily rude, I don’t want others to go through humiliation for no good reason? I was getting paid the next day & do not carry $ in my accounts, it’s not like I wanted to pay with change. I called a couple days later and Mary was great help, told me the next steps she’d take and to call back Wednesday. Wednesday I called & spoke with the owner, he was very quick to shut me down. Passive and didn’t seem to care, he said he didn’t have Kyle’s side of the story and I immediately said seriously? I started to get frustrated because he had no concern for this employee, the owner was quick to interrupt me and started talking over me, I didn’t get any more words in. I was upset upon starting the topic and I think this angered him. He just told me to have a nice day and because I was upset on the phone he told me he assumes my attitude was the same upon my initial interaction with Kyle. It’s unfortunate when management doesn’t care if their employees are bad.

Huge selection of snack goodies including some delicious locally made sausage! Very friendly staff, and a convenient drive through for those needing tobacco products!

Everybody was nice, I came in wearing grungy clothes and messy hair. They didn’t look down on me at all. I am an indigenous man with tattoos and scars. They treated me like I was apart of the community. If you were to walk in my Mocs, I’d give this place a 10/10 feathers . Beautiful place to be treated like a human being.
