Watch out for price scan errors and then no response. I picked up some sushi clearly tagged at $8.49 but noticed later I was charged $13.99. We don’t live near so I contacted them through online form and after 2 weeks got a “case closed” email with no explanation. I tried again with customer service email and got same unacceptable result. They say they adhere to scanning accuracy code of practice but they don’t seem to. Be wary.
Added Aug 20: The people and the store itself was nice but the marker of a good store is how they deal with the occasional mistake or complaint - and on this one it's a complete fail.

I wasn't too sure where to let you guys know. But I bought 3 pears Australia Sunpick WILLIAM BARTLETT 4409 on the tag, and I tried to let them ripen up for a couple of days. The outside of the pears stayed hard, but the insides were brown. I ended up looking this up online, and it turns out that the cause of this is from the fruit being left on the trees too long. I do enjoy shopping at this okotoks location and I still do plan on shopping. But I'm not to sure if this batch might have slipped by quality control. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up and to also say thank you for having a great store, good staff, and great deals.

My favorite of all the Okotoks grocery stores. I live near Costco and Save On Foods but will always drive further for Sobeys. It's not about the prices which seem fair but it feels more inviting and friendly.

I had the most extraordinary shopping experience at this store! While it's true that some of their products are slightly overpriced, the overall experience more than justifies it. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel like a valued customer.
The product selection at this store is simply unparalleled. They carry an array of high-quality groceries, and it's evident that they prioritize stocking only the finest and most unique items. The quality of the products on offer is truly exceptional, and the variety is unmatched. It's no wonder they charge a bit more – the value you receive is well worth it!
But what truly sets this store apart is the staff. They are not just employees; With a special mention for Ceili Parker. They are all a team of individuals, working as one, exuding enthusiasm and passion for their work. In particular, I had the pleasure of also interacting with Kaden, an exemplary staff member with luscious locks of hair that would make anyone envious. Kaden's enthusiasm and dedication to providing excellent customer service was truly outstanding. He was not only knowledgeable about the products, but he also went the extra mile to make sure I found everything I needed.
Kaden and his colleagues are not just there to ring up your purchases; they genuinely care about your experience and satisfaction. Their friendliness and willingness to assist left a lasting impression on me. It's evident that the staff here love their jobs and are proud to work for this store.
In a world where genuine customer service can be hard to come by, this store is a shining beacon of exceptional service, quality products, and a fantastic shopping experience. Yes, you might pay a bit more, but it's an investment in the joy of grocery shopping. I can't recommend this store enough, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Green bell peppers are now a luxury item. $3.67 for a fist size pepper. Impossibly expensive to purchase produce from grocery stores. Drug dealers should start growing produce and selling in the black market with these prices.

There is a young man working at Sobeys, his name is Sonny. He has always been pleasant to me and my husband every time we’re in the store. He’s a great addition to the very friendly staff working at Sobeys Okotoks. Keep up your great hiring practice.

What I really like about Sobeys is the produce section. It's the best place for fresh produce in Okotoks and Ive been shopping here for 18 years.

The produce was mostly fresh which was nice but that is where the good ended for me. You had bakers literally sitting on counters laughing rather then assisting customers who had questions. The store was so packed you were shoulders to shoulders with people. The cashier was kind but you could tell was frustrated when I asked them to wait just a moment so I could get my scene card. Prices were disgusting high compared to others and the international isle was not very "international ". Common now please do better.
