Fun place for families to camp. Where we were situated was kind of tight with no privacy. The sites when you first come in on the left look way nicer.
Kind of weird not all the sites have full service when the one across from you does.
Lots of stuff for kids to do. My kids had a lot of fun. They really enjoyed the bike track.
The pool/pond looked really gross though.
Heard the food at the restaurant was really good but didn’t try.
If you come here with food company, you’ll have a fun time!

We just stayed here at one of cabooses and as much we were all excited to come and sleep in the train very strong sewer smell havent made for us the greatest experience unfortunately. Seating around the fire, eating wasnt pleasure at all. For paying so much money for it you would expect better location. Caboose is great inside, very clean and fully equipped - just the location unfortunately is not great- right beside toilets and showers :(

We had an amazing camping trip at Aspen! The kids were thrilled with all the activities, and the extra touches like food and firewood delivery made it feel like a glamping getaway. We'll definitely be back soon.

Beautiful, clean and huge campground. Restaurant is amazing. Food is very yummy and delicious. Price is very good. My family and kids love it. Their team members are excellent and professional. Their customer services are exceptional, especially a guy who rides an electric bike early every morning around the campsite checks and makes sure their environment is clean and safe, and makes sure their customers are happy to stay. Definitely visit them again.

Conveniently located 45 mins away from Calgary. Caboose experience was great for 230$ a night in Union Pacific, it was a little pricey but its worth the experience. Own washroom, own bbq grill on your private deck, close to a clean toilet/shower house, close to playground and free use of the lagoon. Train ride to kidd ranch for a fee. We all had fun that day! Thanks Asen Crossing we will be back for sure!

Pros: Grounds are well kept. Bathrooms are very clean. Very neat delivery service option in case you run out of something, and the gift shop was really neat, and the lady working was lovely. Lots of stuff for kids to do as well.
If you need to keep the kids busy while camping and don't mind being in tight quarters with your fellow campers I would recommend.
Now Cons: VERY strong sewer smell throughout the campground, the campsites are extremely close together with minimal to no privacy. I wouldn't necessarily call this campground "camping" so much as being really close to your neighbors for a couple days. Overpriced to say the least for a night of camping.
I wouldn't say it is dog friendly either based on the large amount of fox tails on the property.
If you're looking for quiet, nature, and privacy wouldn't recommend.

The team and customer service there is fantastic. Special thank you to Charlize for helping us out. We have been going there every year for the past 5 years and it’s the highlight of our summer. Great lagoon, super clean and updated bathrooms/showers great food and such a bonus to order pizza and wings to the site! Highly highly recommend.
Walkability: Walking distance to all the stores and lagoon
Food & drinks: Wings, pizza and food delivered to your site!!!

This was our first time staying at Aspen. Site was clean and there was lots for the kids to do. Weekend got very busy around there. Pond and beach were very nice.
