I went here to grab food a couple of times while staying in Lethbridge while I was on vacation. It had most of the food items I was looking for which aided in making my vacation a comfortable one. The employees were nice and friendly.

In addition to a great store, Tracy went above and beyond a great services level to help find some specific products my wife was looking for. Thank you again for the exceptional “service à la clientele”, to the women with nice long red hair…. A level she has not received in any other Safeway Store before.

So bought groceries and was paying at the till was informed I was 2 cents shy of the 15% discount had to be 50$ I was at 49.98$ I thought later that was pretty cheap of the company being a senior on a limited budget I couldn’t afford to buy anymore and I could of used the 15% off so I could get a loaf of bread these guys make more then enough off us poor folks that 2 cents from the 15% discount would not hurt them 2 thumbs down to Safeway sobeys

This has been our go to grocery store since it has been at this location but not anymore. We live a hour from Lethbridge and do all our business here once a week. Now that we are empty nesters we always go out for supper and cheap Tuesday movie night. Then we end our day with late night grocery shopping. It was around 9:00 pm and the only place open to pay for our $200 plus groceries was only self check out. I still want personal service. Save On always has a cashier open even in the last hour before closing. Save On has our future business! It was only going to be a one star but the woman at self checkout was very sweet and helped us with pricing the produce. She knew we were frustrated.
