What a joke. Took an engagement ring there with the paper work. The guy looked at the paper for for 30 seconds. Offered me $50. $50!!?? Took across the street to cash Canada pawn shop. They took there time. Looked at the ring. Stones. Tested and offered me a Grand. Dear king of trade. Your a joke!

This is one of the best thrift stores I've visited. The selection is huge, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have seen some stuff in there that they charge more than new prices, they offer you virtual nothing and sell for extreme high prices.

Prices have gone insane. You can get half of what they sell for a third of the price on amazon now. Used to be a place to get a good deal now I wont bother except for disk repair.

I brought in my mint condition Sony Sports Walkman, fully refurbished with new belts and the original headphones, and the guy only offered me $20 for it.Everything is overpriced as well.

I saw a staff member shouting at some homeless folks by their back entrance in the back alley. Claimed they were taking up the parking spaces (they weren't, there were plenty of places left) and threatening to call the police (they were just huddled together trying to keep warm). That's not very Christmassy. I won't be supporting any place that verbally abuses homeless people just existing. ????

Good place to buy movies or CDs. They have a great selection of media and video games.Not a great place to sell items, you don't get much money.

After working with the people at King of Trade for 3 years, I can honestly say they are amazing people. The staff there all care deeply about their customers and the community, and they'll make you feel like a friend when you walk through their doors.Had I not moved away, I'd still be shopping there nearly every weekend!
