Dealing with the Bell Store on Mayor Magrath Dr. S in Lethbridge, AB has been the worst experience I have ever had with upgrading my phones and services. The first day, I was told I couldn't order phones, as their systems were down. The next day, it took an hour and a half to order 2 phones, upgrade my phone plan, and get 2 new lines added to my account. I was then given misinformation about the phone plans I upgraded to. I was also told it would take 3 to 5 business days to have the phones shipped. I am now on business day 10 and when I called the Bell Store, I spoken to a very rude woman, who refused to give me her name, but is the same woman who answers the phone, as I have called a few times to check on the delivery of the phones, she has escalated the situation with her rudeness. She proceeded to tell me that she couldn't tell met he status of the shipment of my phones. That the "national" company, which is Bell has no way of tracking shipments, and they are only told that there is a delay, but no other information. She could not tell me where the phones were, or if they had been in fact ordered or not. I asked who I could contact she stated customer service, which are the ones who told me that I would have to contact the store where I ordered to phones to get confirmation of the delivery date. I proceeded to complain that I have been getting charged for the 2 new phone lines, the 2 new phones and upgraded phone plans since February 2nd, which she claimed shouldn't have been activated until the phones got here, but that is not what happened and her comment to me was that she "couldn't verify anything that a sales person would have said to me and what they say verbally isn't a binding contract". I'm deeply disturbed that an employee at Bell would be ok with stating in a round about way that their sales employees say whatever they want and there is no way for a customer to hold them accountable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this store. They do not provide customer service, the woman I spoke to should never, ever be allowed to engage with the customers due to her unwillingness to help solve problems or put the customer at ease... or maybe her unwillingness is due to the fact that she gets angry calls daily because of their inability to do business in good faith and provide accurate information. Shame on them!!

Terrible service with repair on a less than one month old phone. Three months with no phone no information. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Zero stars don't recommend.

Great during sale but if you come back with a problem it's a different story. I dropped my Samsung 22$ Ultra and damaged the screen. No problem since The smiling salesman sold me a $21 /mo insurance policy. I returned to Bell to make a claim but no more smiling faces. Instead I was handed a post it note with a web address on it and I was on my own. After jumping through all the hoops of dealing with an insurance claim online I found out the " small service charge" described by the Bell rep was $400. Coincidentally about the same price as replacing the screen locally. The insurance company sent a refurbished replacement so I had to transfer my info and erase and return my old phone. Now I own someone else's phone l know nothing about. I requested to be let out of my contract and return this phone but they wanted my first born child to do it. They did let me cancel the insurance. That is my experience with Bell after sale service.
