So i will say i have always done 90% of the time shopped at safeway for my food requirements. Only 2nd time at this location. Not compariable the 3 or 4 that i use as regularly. It was apx 20/30 mins before close at 10 p.m. . I was refused service at the deli . Right there i was not inpressed . I was only requesting one small item . So it altered my whole idea of what i decided to feed this machine . If the hours advertised an publc notice on the door say 10 then be operational untill then an keeping in mind the time . If i only had 5 min before closing an requested 4 or 5 items i could accept i was being unrealistic. So i attempted to quickly go to plan B . This safeway completly upside down compared to others i use all the time . Only one in the store an was watched like a common thief . Not once was asked if i needed assistance as it was very clear i was unable to locate the items i would of enjoyed preparing for a meal that is spectacular. So i heard every 5 mins apx 4 or so times finish my shopping as they were closing. Well aware the time . So i finally said at 5 mins to go an pay for stuff i didnt want to begin with. At the till the person was friendly asked how i was . I politely responed i was ok with the thought what dose he care as ill most likly not incounter them again when the question dhould of been something to the effect of were u able to locate all the items u were in need of or how was your experience with the store . So i paid an packed my own items in my recycle bag . While 3 employs stood talking about there plans watching me pack my food an gave a nod as i was exiting the store to be followed closely behind so the door could be locked behind me. I thought dam ill drive the extra next time in order to obtain the quality off service that i have been accustomed to having over decsdes of supporting the name of Safeway.

Yuck. Literally garbage food. Terrible. Any other grocery store will sell the same for 1/2 the price. The deli-counter food is NASTY. Anything in the display window is cold and flavourless. Like how can you charge $10 for a med container, and not even heat it up? Don't reccomend. Any gas station will have the same quality food for a lower price.

Really good place to shop, only thing I don't like is the prices at Safeway. I buy my fresh stuff from here, baking ect, but everything else from Wally world

We took a walk around to see if we wanted anything else, and by the bakery, the fish smelled so bad I was gagging. We didn't look at anything else, just paid and left. It was disappointing as I know their bakery is always delicious.
