Save your self the headache and rent with someone else if you come to Jasper. I’m a local did an overnight rental cost 140$ or so. Got my bill and was shocked to see I was charged 2700$. On my credit card! They mixed me up with another client now I have to be the one to sort this out. No apologies either for the inconvenience.
Always rented enterprise never had a problem!
Very concerning also with the amount of fraud and scams these days. I hope this can be sorted out quickly. Def make sure you know what you’re getting into with this company.
Sad locals treat locals like garbage in this town.
Only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because the car was good

We just saw the last post and we can totally agree. We unfortunately had a bad experience too! We were supposed to pick up the car at 9am. We have been there but nobody at the office was there and we couldn’t even get into the train station. So we waited for around 30-45 min outside which turned out to be very cold in -16 degrees. Nothing happened so we went with the help of someone else to the hotel where you had to drop off the keys. Even they said they should be open. I called the customer service who couldn’t really help me (offering me to change to another pick-up location which is quite funny because we are in the middle of a national parc and the next bigger city is an around 3,5h drive and there are no busses). At 10am the train station finally opened and we could sit inside but figured that the clock which was placed on the desk and showed earlier the office opens at 10am now showed 10:30 am. Well, around 10:30 am someone finally came. In the end they didn’t charge us the additional license fee (we didn’t even know we have to pay) and the additional insurance. That’s nice but still not that much.We are just a bit disappointed that a big car company can’t manage it to be in time or at least change their opening hours and don’t offer the car up from that time if they open later, especially because renting a car in the middle of the national parc is quite expensive and they charge you for every little add-ons and details.

Very bad experience : we was supposed to pick up a car with a reservation planned for weeks at 9 am but the location was closed. We waited until 11 am and finally decided to cancel our reservation. Hopefully the national agency next door had available cars and proposed us a better price. We tried to call the customer service but no solution has been provided. Even worst, the only advise received was to go to the nearest location which was... More than 200kms from there! Without their competitor we could have a waisted day of vacation!

We had to replace the car we picked up in Calgary at Jasper because the check engine light switched on.We got a dirty car as replacement (beverage spils and rests of cookies in the interior). After we complaint, we got a clean car, but we were informed that Avis company policy was to give non-cleaned cars when a car had to be replaced.I would appreciate Avis to confirm if this is true so that other customers know what to expect.We lost one day of our holidays waiting for the car exchange (from 9am to 16:30).

Dishonest, don't rent there, charged me more than 200 extra after returning the car for no reason. Car retourned in the same condition as the rental and full tank.Impossible to call them.

Poor customer service, I’ve been calling for 3 days at various time I do not get any answer. When I do I’m told there are no cars for 2 weeks, however if I book online there are cars. What is going on? This is such an inconvenience, why have local rates if I’m on able to use them

The young lady at the Jasper avis was just brilliant. Ever so helpful in all respects.One goes to the Avis desk which is actually in the main VIA station. Just to the left as one walks in.The cars are parked around 100m in the station car park and this is where one returns the car. Upon return, just make sure you have filled up the tank, it's good to say show Avis the petrol receipt and make a note of the return mileage. Hand back the keys and all done. Very smooth.

Exceptional service from Priscilla. She was extremely helpful when we needed to exchange our hire car due to a problem. She was very efficient and went out of her way to make sure we had a suitable replacement. I wish that you could always receive this high level of customer service! 5 *

Overcharged by additional $125 which was way above what we are required to pay and when we viewed the invoice, it includes things like non package fees and package charges and optional fees total taxable. All of this was not told to us upfront at the point of reservation, at the point of collection and during return. Very unethical.P.s. told to email in but there is no reply.P.s. for those who are affected, please do a credit charge against avis. I managed to do so successfully and got all my refund back.
