i have never been treated so good ..they kind caring people every staff and owner..they make you feel like your home and i say that with a smile since i immigrated from Europe 35 yrs ago..there food is delicious.. just a wonderful place to deal with ..I feel so lucky to have found this gem in our big country..

Nice and authentic Dutch shop and restaurant. Enjoyed the Dutch Sampler Plate as a little taste of home ??. They’ve got a fun children’s book too… Worth checking

Yesterday we had at the Piccolos Pizza and Pasta ? a marvelous dinner and today at "the wooden shoe" it was very disappointing.We had Frikadellen and poffertjes. The Frikandellen were cooked too far and therefore quite dry and the poffertjes were very salty. For me as a half dutch grown up, this has nothing to do with Dutch food.Maybe their grandparents were dutch, but the kids didn't put a lot of love into the restaurant. I assume that the people working there were all family related. By there tone and look in the face they were very annoyed to work there.I just was wondering if maybe Gordon Ramsay should visit them and he would probably say that they gave up on the restaurant.

Went here tonight and was the most amazing meal, wish we had this gem in our town. Food was amazing, service was good, defiantly will be back!

A charming time capsule of a place. However, products inside are definitely up to date, especially their chocolate selection. The staff and owner clearly have pride in their shop as it is clean, well stocked, and well priced. Gas was reasonably priced. This will be my stop whenever I pass through.
