Bought some stuff from here, but honestly I wouldn't ever shop here again. These employees like to profile people depending on what you wear. If you do not look like you own a business or have all the money in the world you will get followed.Where I work, it's part of my job to make sure people don't steal. But I also don't profile people. Anyone could be thieves...including the people who look like a higher class to you. And those ones are the ones who always come in and steal because you guys don't pay attention to them.I would not suggest giving these guys your money. Unfortunately I felt forced into buying at least something to prove I wasn't a thief and was just looking for Christmas gifts

I had the most delightful experience at this gift shop in Edmonton! The assortment is not only unique but also curated with great taste, offering a diverse range of thoughtful gifts. The owner's warm and friendly attitude added a special touch to my shopping experience. Highly recommend shop for anyone seeking something special and a fantastic owner who goes above and beyond! (Greetings from Calgary!)

Best gift shop in Edmonton. Selection is rich and products will make you laugh. Owner surely has a good sense of humour.

If you're looking for some completely random giftware or souvenirs from a trip to Edmonton's Whyte Ave, visiting this institution of a store filled with kitschy items of all types is a must. While other similar stores haven't survived until today this one was a great visit when we wandered Whyte Avenue with some visitors from out of the country and they picked up some unique souvenirs. The store is so filled with items that there's always something new to spot when visiting. It is perhaps hard to find what you're looking for if you only want to find something very specific but if you're open to finding new things this is a great option! The floor creaks when you walk in some spots and the decor and store itself is old but this adds to the charm. It can be overwhelming to visit (but sometimes this saves me some money).

Came into this store today searching for Birthday gifts. I will admit that this store has some nice trinkets, but the customer service is awful. Noticing the wind chimes and horse figures would require assistance from staff in order to purchase. I sought to notify one of the staff members, who was following me, for assistance. As I began making a request for assistance the staff member in question proceeded to roll their eyes and quickly turned away ignoring me. Not entirely sure why they acted as they did, though I can imagine as to why based on other reviews.Would have really liked to have made a purchase. But I cannot bring myself to support these kinds of practices and standards in service. Always another store or online.

For many years our family and friends have patronized this store always enjoying the fun items that can be found. Unfortunately we will never be back after how the staff treated my daughter and her friend They literally followed them around the store right from the moment they walked in making them feel extremely uncomfortable. At one point they thought maybe the staff member had stopped acti g so suspicious towards them only to see them peeking around a display and glaring at them? When my daughter picked up an item she was interested in to examine it she was abruptly told "Don't touch anything unless you plan to buy it!" What? Who does this? What kind of people do you have working there now? Obviously if she picked it up she was thinking about buying it. You really need to have your staff trained in proper customer service because I'm seeing a pattern here when it comes to similar comments...In all, I'm extremely disappointed with the treatment of my daughter who did absolutely nothing wrong but was treated like she was a criminal! Shame on you.

Neat store but felt like I was being watched /followed by three cranky lady there. I go in when I bring come from aways down to Whyte and she never smiles or is never friendly. I'm sure shoplifting is a big issue there but a scowling customer service person doesn't help against that..

Pro: This is a neat store with some rare to find and fun items. We picked up 3 items, which we're happy about.Con: The store is expensive. Considering that this type of store is becoming less of a rarity, I believe they should price more competitively.Con: The moment we walked through we door, we felt like we were seen at theives. A staff member was following us through the store, which was fairly uncomfortable. We do not believe it was for customer service as they did not say a word to us.

I stopped in today while walking down Whyte Ave, the store seemed to have some really nice items to choose from, but I felt the prices were a little far-fetched. I do believe in shopping local and avoiding online, but that does not mean I will be willing to spend $16 on a single oven mitt no matter how cute. They did have a great selection though, of home goods, gift items, novelty goods, and yard decorations, among many other items.A nice place to browse while you are on Whyte Ave, and the staff were very friendly, they greeted me kindly and made me feel very welcomed. The store was well organized, although a little cramped in some areas in between the aisles.

The store owners were really rude, and forced us to buy a chocolate bar because we “dropped it”. Wouldn’t recommend the product also sucks. If i could give it zero I would. I work in retail, we have people drop product all the time, never once forced a customer to buy something even if it was no longer sellable. Very rude workers.
