I have been going to both a D&D night and Pathfinder game at this store and have had a most excellent time. I have, since joining spent a lot of money on the games but also met a whole bunch of amazing people.

We love Warp 1 as our favorite bookstore and gaming centre. Extremely inclusive and welcoming! The first time we visited, the owner went out of his way to find some rare Manga for us and we love coming back to play Pathfinder every week.

Came buy to trade in and buys some singles. Employee was more interested in playing in a modern event then helping me. Felt incredibly insulting and a waste of my time. I have had good experiences before but was abhorrently disappointed this time. I likely won't be coming back.

Best selection in the city by far, but the staff are pretty terrible. Unless they recognize you as a regular, they ignore you. If you ask for help, they’re annoyed they need to stop chatting with eachother to help you find something, especially the folks who work by the back entrance.
I’ve gone 3-4 times now and won’t be going back. I hate ordering online but getting treated like I don’t belong isn’t worth supporting a local store.

I wanna give it 5 stars, I really do.
The selection and variety in the store is off the charts. It's always fun to browse and you can stay for a long time and keep finding new things.
However, what is also off the charts is the amount of dust. If you are allergic you're in for a bad time. Some board games have so much dust you can easily see it accumulated. Some displays of action figures have not been cleaned in what appears to be years.
I understand that a big store like this is not easy to clean etc, but this is on a whole new level.

Great spot, huge variety and some really unique finds. A bit cramped inside.
So many things to see and the prices are very reasonable. Lots of opportunities for table top gamers, D&D and so much more.

Warp 1 is fun to walk through. One of Edmonton’s older comic shops, Warp is packed with comics, board games, MTG, and collectibles. Prices can be high and service can be difficult at times, but it remains on my list of shops to check out now and then. Board game shopping can be awkward if people are gaming, but I appreciate the need to maximize usable space. I do miss the old store sometimes.
