Great Auction house. Friendly , knowledgeable staff, and good selection of items most times. I like the firearms auctions and find the occasional gem in the regular auctions worth bidding on.

Great place to go if you want your items to bring nothing and then pay a 30% commission..
First let me say I understand auctions very well and I am not naiive enough to believe that you're going to get top dollar and all auctions are indeed somewhat of a coin flip when it comes to selling for what you hope it would.
That being said I brought in a Chinese Plinco game that was in my possession for many years..I brought it in prior to sale to my amazement there were 2 others just like it ready to be listed ..The owner had a look at it and informed me that they usually brought about $125- $150
.although that seemed low I decided to list it with them anyway.I signed the necessary paperwork and left as I was extremely busy..Later in the week I checked the price it had sold for after auction, and was very disappointed to see it has only sold for $40. While I was disappointed I had to accept the fact that auctions are no guarantee of a good price for the consignor but a " flip the coin" venture. What really upset me was the owners response which was basically stating that it wasn't in very good condition and" What did I expect "..That I could handle albeit with a knowledge of it going for 30-40% of what he said..My biggest issue with Wards is that when I opened my cheque and receipt and realized that they charged me 30% commission..this is at least 10% higher than al.ost every auction in the city..My bad for not looking at the consignment sheet prior to signing on the dotted line, but due to this utter hosing that Ward's charges for selling I am through them, I will absolutely never deal with them again..if others are okay with paying that sort of commission fee's then go hard, as for myself I will lick my wounds and sell my items that don't charge these exorbitant commissions...which is pretty much every other auction in the city.

Very disappointed in this auction place. I gave them hunting equipment ranging around the $750 mark & I mentioned to the staff what the price of the equipment was. I eventually found out that my equipment was sold for less than $200. Won't be using wards & buds auction again.

Bought firearms and militaria from 2 different auctions and I like how they set up and the online bidding. My only complaint would be for people that can't come in to view before auction is to have more photos and better descriptions for online viewing.

Zero, won a large item and contact a lot of time but seems they are too busy and never mind to help to find a solution. Then I got a $80 check they said they got my item purchased for over $300 that auctioned out again, then block me on online auction. You are the man! Don't bid if you are online they will not help.

Brad Ward and his crew put together a quality auction house. Seating can be limited and parking is a nightmare.
