Went in looking to by refreshments and noticed a discount label was misplaced, the label was for a 40% discount when I noticed and mentioned the mistake as it appears on the register as the wrong price they did not honor it and rudely insulted myself and my friends intelligence by saying “if you can’t understand the sign you should not be shopping here” they proceeded to say have a nice as we walked out. Will not be recommending be recommending this establishment to anyone.

Good selection at the beer store. New Smokehouse restaurant inside the old Transit Hotel is fantastic. Beautiful inside, Both food and service were great. I'd recommend.

I was here for St Paddy’s day 2023. The band was the best part. Honestly the rest, was disappointing. The high prices of food is crazy. I had the Irish stew that was to be full of brisket, but was more a small bowl of barley soup. $18. A bit much in my opinion. The service wasn’t good. We waited for long periods for everything. And we have been here before and it was the same. But, likely will only return for the music.

We took my father-in-law here last night and we were not disappointed! Love the platters, what a great way to try all this deliciousness!! Favourites were the chicken and ribs and that cornbread was amazing! Definitely going back again to try the rest of the menu. Also we had an awesome server. Well done Transit!!

This was our 2nd trip to the Transit for Brisket & Boo-they loveingly were raising money for a local charity by offering a haunted tour...Since I know the Transit has quite a notorious past; I was hoping to get some actual Transit spooky stories...stories yes, real truth...perhaps not ????...either way, was still a fun timeDinner of course was great; we had the pulled pork, ribs, chicken & brisket (this is my fave)...had 6 different BBQ sauce options (all offered something different and delish)For side we had sweet potato fries (amazing), sweet corn (my new fav), and coleslaw (classic)Though it is a bit pricy...its a great experience & I recommend giving this ol place a visitFor dessert I recommend the smoked ice cream-its cool, smoky, tangy and sweet(do it)
