I went in there a week ago and was amazed,haven't seen a place like that since the franchises killed all the independent pet shops,but no one was there lol ,go take a look,you won't believe it,old school ,I'll see if someone's around sometime again,maybe they where in the bathroom lol

Staff is all knowledgeable and friendly. Fish and plants are plentiful and happy. VERY good prices. Worth your time even if you just want to check it out, all the tanks are gorgeous.

I had an amazing experience at Planted Tank! The staff and owner are knowledgeable and passionate about fish, and patiently answered all my questions as a beginner. The store has a great selection and a much better price compared to other chain pet stores. Can’t wait to come back for more!

#1 fish shop and customer service in YEG. I frequent fish shops a lot and Gene and staff are best mix of friendly & knowledgable, by a mile. Store is still newer, setup continuously gets better every time I go, Highly recommend

Went there for the first time in the weekends they had a great selection of healthy looking fish. Bought 6 rummynose tetra from them who have been doing very well in my tank at home! Will definitely be back!

Tonight was our first time in the store. It was suggested to us by multiple people on Facebook. We were NOT disappointed! Staff was super friendly and helpful. We only went in for plants and driftwood and he was amazing with helping us choose which would be good for us. We will definitely be back when it's time for fish!

Cool store…. Gave me time to look around the offered help when I needed it. Bought a few fish to start off our tanks. Showed us their resident puffer and fed it in front of my two little girls… they loved it. Will be back again.
