Our favorite store for fried chicken and wedges. I just bought a tray of chicken for our lunch in Simons Londonderry mall and everybody was surprised by the food I brought. It was a big tray of fried chicken with free wedges from this store, they were sooo good and everybody enjoyed it. They got interested in buying some when they knew where I bought it. Thank u Sunshine for the consistency of your excellent customer service and quality of your food. I would say the best fried chicken in the city??

Best chicken in town/edmonton! Honestly I been coming to this place since 2009 and the flavor hasn’t changed so much… same amazing taste and they’ve been consistently great. The only thing I would say is avoid during lunch times for Londonderry school and ME lazerte this place becomes a zoo with the students. Your sweet spot is around 10:30-11:30am and then 1:30-2:30pm. I believe they stop serving chicken in the evening time.
Anyways, I do believe the dinner box with nine piece chicken and 24 spuds is the best deal. I absolutely recommend getting at least 48 piece spuds because you can always throw this in the air fryer and it even taste better. This place is a must try location for Halal chicken and they have the best spuds in Edmonton. It’s worth the drive up north and I always make time to head over here whenever I can. Thanks so much for having such delicious food always!

Chicken and fries are absolutely outstandingly AMAZING! Better than KFC! I rather support local than a franchise any day. They do sell out so call ahead of time to make sure or go early!

One the better corner stores in Edmonton. Some staff are super freindly. Also prices are bit lower. And chicken and wedges and gravy are great. Love this shop. Recommend to anyone that want to shop at a good place! Thanks guys!?

On this visit to Sunshine Food Store, I ordered the snack meal. It comes with 2 pieces of chicken and 6 spuds/wedges. I felt like I got what I paid for. The quality was definitely better than what you get from 7eleven. I will be back one day when I am in the area again. Thank you Sunshine staff for the wonderful food and service.
