I recently purchased a used Canadian hot tub made by SunRay from a friend that no longer had use for it. He informed me that the #2 pump needed repairs and it needed a new cover. We live in the Robson Valley and checked with several dealers in Prince George about repairs or replacement and got quoted anywhere from $400-$800 for the pump and $700-$1000 for a new cover with a 6-8 week delivery time on the cover. I happened to have to go to Edmonton for some business so I took the pump with me and went to SunRay and talked with them. They were awesome! I dropped the pump off at 3pm on a Thursday and they called me at 10am Friday to tell me it was all repaired, tested and ready to go at a price less than $300 ! They also told me the cover would be a 6-8 week delivery time just like the dealers in PG said but at a price of $750. I really appreciated their speedy service to help an out of towner get his tub up and running and would highly recommend them. I will be using them for all my hot tub needs in the future.

Have owned my wild rose tub since new and only needed service department help a couple times over they years. Each time I need parts they have been amazing. Today was no different not only did I get a part for free they figured out what I thought was a leak was just a simple gasket. Saved me having to move the tub to search for the leak. So so happy with not only their help but the years of trouble free service of the tub over they years.

Arctic Spas are excellent quality spas made right here in Edmonton, and they don't rely on a playbook of lies and deception as their standard business practices.
SunRay will tell you that they have the best quality spas around, then tell you how all of their suppliers, production people and landlords are horrible.
How do you build a quality product with horrible suppliers and production? You don't...but you might be able to grift a deposit out of someone. You'll never get that 'delivery date' in writing though.
Google "SunRay Spas Consumer Protection Act" to find out what they are all about.

I'll be back… mostly to get my money back. They were unable to provide a hot-tub, although they kept giving me estimates. Thankfully Visa does not accept non-delivery of merchandise.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Brad at Sun Ray Hot Tubs & Patio, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I own a Canadian Tub that I purchased second-hand, and I was in desperate need of a new hot tub cover as my current one was waterlogged and sagging, causing significant water evaporation.
Brad was incredibly knowledgeable about my hot tub model and immediately understood my urgency. He placed a rush order for a custom cover in the "almond" color, the thickest and most durable option they offer. Despite an estimated turnaround time of two weeks, Brad and his team had the cover ready in just a week and a half!
While I was at the store, Brad and I discussed the jet system. I mentioned my plan to replace all the jet air control valves in the fall during a major service update. Brad showed me that the issue was likely due to worn-out gaskets in the valves, which he explained how to replace. For just $35 and about 20 minutes of my time, my hot tub is now working as good as new! Brad's honesty, expertise, and kindness saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of time, as I no longer need to update the entire system to get my jets working properly.
I know some people have had bad experiences in the past, but I can confidently say that Brad and the team at Sun Ray Hot Tubs & Patio are doing an incredible job of rejuvenating their business and ensuring customer satisfaction. I will always recommend Brad to my friends and family.
Thank you, Brad, for your exceptional service!

Just one star for the overall experience ordering a hot tub cover from Sunray, I would give 3 stars (for now) for the final product, after it was redone. The initial cover was sewn horribly, it had creases all over the corners and in the middle of the cover, also, the styrofoam used was cut too small and the two sides of the cover were not equal. They refuse to give you the exact specs for the foam, the owner told me it was a trade mark secret?!?, even when I insisted and told him that’s not possible since he is not the manufacturer of the foam. If you search for different manufactures for covers, you’ll see the price differs when you choose the foam, and the fact the owner didn’t want to disclose this information, except the never-ending praise “our covers are the best”, makes one regret not reading the reviews before ordering.
I should add the hot tub we own was bought from Sunray many years ago, all our supplies were bought from them, this is how they treat their loyal customers.
My husband and I ordered the cover in October, we also bought the solar blanket, which we wanted to return the next day because it wasn’t one piece, it was two, sewn together, what kind of an expert sews something that goes onto the water? He told us that we can use RV silicone to glue the two pieces and it will be fine, but guess what, silicone didn’t take to that plastic. Do you think the owner offered to reimburse us? No way, he just likes to talk a lot.
In December, when the order should have been ready, I called the company and spoke with the salesperson and he told me it’s going to be delayed for a couple of weeks because they have the fabric but they don’t have the foam. I called again in January, they said they have the foam but they don’t have the fabric. That’s the way they lie, they don’t even have the decency to keep up with their lies. Turns out, they just didn’t bother to order the fabric, they only stopped blaming the supplier after I sent an email to that supplier in which I told them how the lies spread by Sunray might damage their reputation.
By the end of January I went to the store with a friend of mine that was in the same situation, the order was made a few weeks before ours. We insisted the owner gave us the money back but he refused, he showed us the small print on the invoice “no backsies”. In the end, my friend got the money back by contacting the bank, even after a few months you can dispute a visa claim.
We got the horribly sewn cover by the end of March, it felt like we paid for a Mercedes that was advertised as a Ferrari and received a Pony. We took it back and expressed our disappointment once again. It took them a month to fix the cover, which is still not perfect, one corner has small creases and another corner has the seam off the edge of the foam. Also, the salesperson told me that if I want something perfect, I should do it myself, well, for $800 and do it yourself, that says a lot about “our covers are the best on the market”, with sass on top.
For this cover we’ve waited for 6 months, I’ve called them at least 10 times, I went to the store 10 times, the cost of the cover alone was over $800. There’s a recent article about Sunray, you should give it a read, especially since the owner told me the bad reviews are paid for by his competition, well, I feel bad because nobody’s paid me, it’s almost like my experience and other people’s experience was real, also, all those people suing and winning the lawsuits, how about that lesson in civil law Mr. Innocent Until Proven Guilty, not that condescending now, are we? Or should I say, not that innocent?
Later edit as response to the owner: you never mentioned it was a special color because you knew nobody would pay upfront for something with questionable delivery timing as if you had monopoly in manufacturing covers.
Unfortunately my reply cannot be complete, I’m exceeding the character limit. I’ve attached pictures with the pliable fabric that “seems a little loose”. The re

SunRay crafts top-notch hot tubs! Ours has been with us for 17 years, and it’s still going strong. Two friends recommended getting a Sun Ray hot tub and we are very glad that we listened to them. Thanks, SunRay, for making such a durable and reliable product.
