Senior citizen alert
Just took my neighbour a senior citizen to this location who wanted to do some paper work like printing. Asked for the associate but they refused to even listen or communicate with us . And kept cutting us off saying the machine is there . The poor man missed his doctors appointment too. Her name was Jonane then I wanted to speak with manager his name was Mohiv . He said he is the general manager and laughed at us when we wanted help for the poor old neighbour of mine. The old man was willing to pay for the services but they keep disrespecting him and literally ignored our request. Looks like our Canadian culture and etiquette of helping others is going down the drain. Staples Canada is hiring such kind of people in management roles who have zero empathy towards senior citizens which breaks my heart . I will be posting about this in all social media. Unacceptable behaviour won’t be tolerate in our cities. If your employees who you are hiring can’t act do the customer service job they need to find other job were they can show their crappy attitude. I will be taking this matter further and will be forwarding this to my locals journalists friends. #RespectCanadainSeniors

I'd give zero stars if it was an option. I ordered a printer online for in-store pickup. An hour and a half after order confirmation, my order has been cancelled. The payment has gone through, yet I don't get reimbursed for their inability to fulfill my order for 28 days, because it's a debit visa. Shop ANYWHERE but here.

We’ve been struggling with the terrible staples card design online. What a nightmare. You can’t save as you go or reuse the template.
After completing a design I dropped the mouse .5 inches on the laptop and it deleted everything. Join 2010 staples your online service is garbage.

I went into Staples this week to do my annual shop for my daycares amazing customer service. I have to thank Tyler who helped by giving me boxes to pack all my supplies ie markers, pencil crayons….he was so patient packing and ringing in my two orders . Joana was amazing helping ringing in my big Oder. Mohiv thank you for runnig a great store with staff who are helpful and know the value of customer service. I will definitely recommend going to Staples for back to school supplies. Great prices and amazing customer service.

Huge thank you to Jenna who helped me when I was at my wits end trying to print documents! She went out of her to make sure I was helped from the moment I entered to as I was leaving. It's not very often that someone's positive energy uplifts you on a random Monday errand. Staples, clone her!

We went there to use the advertised features for the In-store office where you can print and scan documents. Super simple and streamlined process. Zero issues with it, and there are plenty of machines/computers available to do so.
As many other reviewers have mentioned:
The staff here. One employee chastised a customer rather rudely for sitting down in the seat where photos are taken- where there was no prior indication that it was going to be used. It also seemed rather strange because said customer was IN the party of people who were wanting to use the photo station.
While the above was going on, a child was running around behind the machines and shaking them. This can be put on the parents, but given we were right next to the photography station, the staff member didn't indicate that maybe the child shouldn't be going behind where the outlets are, or shaking the machines.
There was a review above that talked about staff allocation around the store, and I can absolutely agree and concur with that. You need more than one staff member in this section.
I will say that while over around the gaming section, the employee offered to help us find anything we were looking for, which was great even if we didn't need assistance.

Amazing customer service and help from Dexter, you really made the day more enjoyable. Just a note to the manager, it is, of course, important to enforce rules. They are there for a reason. But, it is highly unprofessional to verbally discipline your employees in front of customers. Had I witnessed that before the high level of customer service I received, I would have made my purchase elsewhere. Great job also done by trainee Edwin.

Please teach this manager how to properly zone and allocate staff throughout the store’s departments. 4 staff standing and chatting at till while 1 staff member looked after the entire print and shipping centre with 10+ people in line. From a customer’s perspective, this is poor service to not even acknowledge us waiting in line for a substantial amount of time. Only star goes to Jenn at the print counter, after 20 min waiting, she was fantastic.
