Wish I could give this zero stars. I paid at the pump to fill up and pre auth for $250 which clearly went thru because it let me fill up. I put over $190 then drove away and continued on with my day. Or tried to, the cashier lady was chasing me down the road so stopped and she was accusing me of stealing fuel and how it didn’t go through so I turned around and went back to the store. She would not show me the receipt or any proof and was accusing me of stealing fuel and making me out to be a thief in front of other customers, demanding to see my online banking. It ended up being a system fault on their part. Will be the last time I use any shell.

I stopped here today to use the washroom. The young lady was pleasant to me as usual. When i was finished in the bathroom i came out into the store to buy a beverage. As i was choosing one, a man was loudly and rudely berating the counter lady. He was behaving like a petulent jerk because his toonie did not work for the tire inflator for his childs bike. She explained it is a third party company and not part of the Shell store. She even kindly (and not required to) refunded his toonie. Still, he yelled at and insulted her. She was professional and composed. Moreso than i would have been. There are some bad reviews here, however, we should all keep in mind that people who serve us or provide a service are humans who deserve to be treated with respect. I told her she was awesome and to not let him ruin her day.
Just a thought i wanted to share.

I was overcharged for a Slush today, And even though it was a low amount of money that's not the point, It's the fact I was treated like I was stupid and didn't know how to do simple math, the prices were clearly marked on the sign next to the slush machines, And the staff member working told me that the slush priced at $ 2.59 had no tax included in the price on the sign, While the extra large slush priced at $2.89 Apparently had tax included in the price on the sign. This makes no logical sense. Why would one price on the sign have tax included but another one not, huh ??? It doesn't make any logical sense, not To mention confusing to the customers. So why I was charged $ 2.93 which is 37 cents tax when I should've been charged 2.68 which is 12.8 cents, or basically 13 cents tax as I told the employee working, That's my issue was, I was basically charged fifteen percent tax. That is not allowed. I will not go here ever again and I will be passing it on to everybody I can I will not go here again. Stay away from this place. You cannot trust their prices.
Also forgot to mention, that would mean the extra large slush is cheaper than the large. Once again doesn't make much sense.

Came here to use a shell/airmiles offer. I was able to get 3 litres of gas before the pump malfunctioned. Went inside to ask for help, but the staff member was pretty useless.

I'd give big fat zero stars for this one. One of pumps was not functioning today after trying to use self service twice. Staff member (was around midday today) pretty much useless and did nothing when I mentioned that to him and went back to.be on his phone.... Had to cancel several pump and kiosk payments which was over a $100 worth of fuel and a premium car wash. Had enough and decided to use another gas station.

The absolute worst car wash in the city, I bought 20 car washes on the flex card and had to use 5 at once to get my car a little clean, I don’t know if it’s the soap or the equipment but summer or winter this car wash is horrible

Worst experience with the car wash. Had the ultra wash and when i came out to fuel up half of the car was still covered in dirt. I was SHOCKED $16 down the drain just like that. When i went inside to get an explanation and a refund or rewash. The guy inside told me that this usually happens in the winter and that he can only give me a rewash if the whole car is dirty. I was just in utter shock, how is it my problem if the car wash doesn’t wash properly in the winter. This was my last time using shell wash or in fact any kind of shell products. Just disappointed and don’t recommend anyone to use this shell gas station.

I am late posting this and I also have already brought my concerns to head office who thankfully reached out to the owner/manager of this location who did call me and apologize, so simply because head office addressing the issue, I will give this location 2 stars instead of the 1 star they deserved.The car wash stopped working while I was inside it, I had to get out of my car, walk through the slippery car wash while asking my son to stay in the car because I didn’t want him to slip and I had to go into the store to tell the worker who then got on her phone and called someone and then did not relay anything to me about what was going to happen but instead she went back to her til to cash people out.I had to go back into the line up at the til again just to ask her what was happening, she said she was waiting for her technician and then looked at me blankly.I then had to ask her how long her technician was going to take to which she replied 2 mins and then continued to cash other patrons out.I then went out to tell the cars in line behind me because she failed to do so, she would have just let them wait… the last girl in the car wash line thanked me and back out and left.I then went into the wash as my kid was sitting inside the car and I didn’t want him waiting in a car trapped in a car wash on his own. We were in there for quite a while (not 2 mins as she indicated) before she came back and opened the door for us to leave.My son at this point was hungry because it’s supper time. But we had to wait for this associate to figure out how to unlock the store door (she locked the store door when she had to fix the car wash door) but she couldn’t seem to figure it out how to use her key to open the store door to get back in, all while she was sitting on her cell phone laughing.When she finally got it open, my son came in because he wanted something as he was hungry. She walked up to me handed me a car wash voucher - no apology or anything. My son got a slurpee and I told the associate which I don’t think is unreasonable that she should give my son the slurpee because we were stuck in there and she in a snarky voice said “it’s only $2”. I understand it’s only $2 but it was the principle of what we just experienced and that’s the very least she could do.When I walked out the guy that was behind me in the car wash line along with other drivers were still stuck in the car wash line and had to go inside and ask her to help them get out of the wash line by opening the door again so they could drive through as they all couldn’t just back out. Despicable customer service honestly.I was quite upset at the way this associate handled things or the lack of way she handled things, I should say.But at least I was given an apology after raising the issue up to Shell’s head office.

I never imagined I would write a review about a gas station but here it is. The women working at this location is very very rude and disrespectful. I will never get gas here again.
