I had a car loan through them, I reached out to them when I was selling it to a dealership. They told me it would take 1-2 days for the letter needed for the dealership to payoff the loan. And was told by a scotia employee that to not worry, no payments would come out and they would wait patiently for payment from dealershipA week goes by still no letter and started to get harassment calls from scotia demanding payment and marked it as a late payment which it turn affected my credit score.Scotia bank delayed their own payment due to not following through with their 1-2 agreement they had told me over the phone and in turn made it my issue by harrasing and affecting my credit score.I was planning on opening a bank account with them, but after poor customer service and no care for their customer for the loan, why would anyone want to use them as a bank.Do not use them unless you have to.Very disappointing

I visited this branch today. I have some issue with my app. The employer who helps me she is a lady. She don't know anything about her job not even have customer service experience. She is so unprofessional and behave so rude with me. They need to appoint good experienced people

10 ⭐️! I went to 2 other brand banks today and no one could book me an appointment for weeks. Came to this bank and even though it was super busy deepak kumar mehndiratta got me in right away. He personally helped me with all my needs and assured everything was properly completed. I am very pleased with the service here and will be recommending to my friends.

Please do not book an appointment with deepak kumar mehndiratta . I had a terrible experience with him. Very pushy about his services even when i adamantly pointed out that i am not interested. Did not adress my doable need as well. Wasting my time listening to his sales pitch without solving my concern. Needless to say, i wasted my appointment and got nothing in return.

I had my mortgage with Scotia bank for 10 years. I was in the process of purchasing a new home and my previous mortgage specialist was no longer working at this branch so I was paired with Jessica Macwan. My experience with her was a nightmare. She spent a month on my file and in between I had to constantly call her to get an update. She eventually came back with an amount lower than my current mortgage. It was evident to me Jessica did not know what she was doing. I went to TD bank and met with Shamaim and along with her manager Karan they were able to approve the mortgage I needed for my new home. I would not recommend this branch and Jessica to anyone for mortgage.

It’s been 7 years with this bank. My credit ratings are good too but never got a single offer from this bank except a tiny offer of $700 overdraft. Other than that i have accounts in other bank too and i got line of credit, overdraft protection and 8times more limit of credit card.

Experience with Prashaant Malik was very very disappointing..My appointment was at 3.00 pm and reached at 2.55 pm but he never showed up until 3.17 pm .I saw him passing by me at around 3.10 as if he was coming from outside but he never bother to check whether I am there in waiting area or not..He interacted in unprofessional way with me so I had to discontinue my meeting ..Never saw a person behaving like him in this field …From Lakhvir Singh

I am customer of this branch from last 12 years. This time my bank card got blocked and I called fraud department and they told me to go to this branch and have them call fraud department and verify my identity . When I went there , teller said that we are busy , have a seat . After waiting for 30 mins , another teller came and asked me if I need help . I explained him again and he said no one at the branch to help me . While any of the teller can verify my identity with fraud department . Now if I call fraud department they say have your bank call us . If I go to bank , they says you call them .what to do in this case ???Also bank need to hire more tellers as it long waiting .

Worst Branch of Worst Bank….I have recently opened an account with Scotia Bank.My first hit was from the staff of Southgate branch when she spent 45 minutes in clicking multiple screens in her system to do a simple thing for any customer and finally she mentioned that I will have to go to my home branch to resolve the issue.I came to MTC branch and this experience was even worse. Staff is very inefficient and lack the professional training. I visited bank to identify the bank error and the person in charge told me to come next month as the error is not showing up in system. I wet to bank next month and the cash teller (Avneet) told me that it will be fixed with 24 hours but nothing happened in 4 days. I called help line they transferred me to the number who kept on ringing but no one attended the call. I will be visiting bank soon. This is my Hell of Experience with this bank. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BANK to anyone. What a shame…

This branch us good for a certain group of people from India. They will seriously try to ripoff any other kind of person walking into their doors . The officials at this branch are running big businesses outside and all their decisions are based on whether the customer belongs to their community or not. The mortgage advisersin this branch have caused so much damage to other people's life's.

Awful service. Tried booking multiple appointments online for an upcoming mortgage renewal and the advisor would call on the correct day, but not the correct time and then email me saying I missed my appointment. I repeatedly asked for a set appointment as I can't sit by my phone for a week to jump at an appointment when they are ready, but continued to get random phone calls when the advisor had time. I was offered rates through email that I was told I would have a week to accept, but the advisor didn't have time to take an appointment or answer her phone within the week, so the rates increased despite me making every effort to accept the rates offered during that time frame. I asked for our email tread to be forwarded to a manager as it would be evident that I was very much trying to accept a rate offer, but everything was delayed due to the advisor not having time to do her part, but nothing came of it. Very, very difficult branch to deal with. There are far too many free banking options and lending options through mortgage brokers to ever put up with this level of service. Closed my regular account and will never have a Scotia mortgage product again after this term is up.
