Price matching rules have changed and apparently included “selected varieties” actually means manager’s discretion. Don’t shop here. They did not go the extra mile. Terrible customer service.

Has the best bakery in town. Has the worst staff of all the grocery stores. Not even a hello or have a good day. Makes me wonder why I even shop there. Because the Italian centre is too far away

Staff refused to price match items as they said this location does not price match items. If this is in fact true then the location needs to advertise that they no longer price match and/or if they do price match the staff need to be trained better. Disappointed with the service provided.

Gary, Pharmacist is a life saver! He coordinated my mom's medical needs from her Save-On Pharmacy (Newton, Surrey). He helped ensure her diabetes is well-managed. He really gave us a peace of mind. Thank you again for going beyond and exceptional service. You rock!!!

Frieson Brother's grocery store is a much better option. Better prices, better quality of food and better service.

First thing this place is ridiculously expensive I wouldn’t mind that because if you want to shop you gotta shop but the worst part was I purchased yogurt from here that I didn’t check was expired and later came to return they refunded it, all good until then. After this I bought yogurt like 3-4 times every time it would taste bitter and I never had time to return it (it was not expired). Giving 3 stars because customer service is always happy to help.

Just saw an incident: two 50 year old white men yelled racial slurs at a poor cashier and left her in tears..this has happened twice with the same customers. Save on foods establishment has done nothing to tackle this issue

Good location with good staff. But in some cases the price is different from the other grocery and expensive.

I'm not a regular shopper of Save on foods, find them expensive for the most part, however I would shop there for specific items every month or two that I could only get there. One being their chocolate fudge cake. (I'm serious about my love for cake) I would buy a couple of them at a time and freeze some. It's literally the best chocolate cake I'd ever had. So I'm extremely disappointed that they stopped supplying it over a year ago, even though I was told it was coming back and was just a shortage issue....it never came back. They have changed much of their cakes. (Cakes they don't make in store) I assume they use a different supplier now. They are not the greatest tasting cakes imo. This has been the issue with other products in their store as well. Why stop suppling something that's a top selling item? Now I'm left with really no reason to shop there anymore...other then their strawberry cake slices.Very expensive store as well. Many basic items are 2-3 times more then other popular stores such as Walmart or Safeway for example.I gave 2 stars because the cashiers are generally friendly.
