Not a great experience… the security guy… don’t wanna name him but, he was bothering me for no reason… as a first timer in Edmonton and save on foods, I needed to take a look around of the store so I was without my cart/trolley and then he follows me the whole time while I was in the store and then he tells me that I can’t roam around without buying things at the store. I tried explaining him sir it’s my first time please don’t bother me and leave me alone I am going to take a cart, buy my stuff and get outta here, dude was so dumb that he didn’t even know what’s a cart… he didn’t even understand what is the meaning of visiting the city and store for the first time… kindly request please train your staff well before they start working on your payroll! If he’s the security then his job is to look out for people creating a mess, trying to steal or whatever, not stalk and follow first timers. Despite of explaining him at least 5 minutes he didn’t understand what did I wanted to say… please hire someone who even understands English well! After I talked to the manager he understood all at once … as simple as that!

First visit to this location. Purchased water. Looks the same as any other Save-on-Food. Reverse osmosis machine was easy to locate and was clean. Very few shoppers so self-checkout was a breeze. The only employee who I interacted with was nice. Plenty of parking out front. No need to carry around a loonie to check-out shopping carts.

I have been here multiple times to grab bagged salads and random groceries and have had to leave and go to another grocery store because they are out of what I need :s I keep re-trying because I’ve never had a problem at any other location, but have yet to be successful at this one. If I have a list of ten items to grab, they’ll have less than half, not exaggerating at all. Super frustrating! The staff are kind though!

Ordered a Sweet 16 birthday cake and will never order another from this location. Birthday girls name was spelled wrong and was not even centred. It did not look very presentable, especially given it was a special, milestone birthday. I ordered a custard filling with mixed fruit. Both the fruit and custard was sparse and the cake was very dry. Everyone though they must have given me a cake that was 5 days old. A compete embarrassment! Most everyone had two bites and threw the rest out. Never again. They are overpriced, low end cakes. They used to be much better, but they sure have gone downhill!

Wonderful bakery and deli. Good selection of fresh produce, but very little in the way of organic produce. Competitive pricing on non-organic items and attentive staff.

I have cash my lotto ticket on sunday April 7 2024 and I have won 8 free tickets and a$20.00, $10.00, $5.00 and $2.00. Total cash was $37.00 with the 8 tickets I ask to put on the extra total $8.00. $37.00 -$8.00 = $29.00. but the $5.00 ticket disappear so it was $24.00 cash back. this is the second time that save on foods fraud me cash the first time was about a year ago. the cashier was Jimmy H. C0124 #9710 time was 09:07:17 April 07 2024. Harry Eagleson This will be report to AGLC and WCLC.

Worst service ever! Waited atleast 15 minutes with no help from the bakery staff and supervisor. Did not even acknowledge me. I must be invisible. Was talking about scheduling. I left without spending my money at this location.
