Our family has been servicing our vehicles with Jim for 10+ years. I have previously gone to the dealership and felt that they were doing work unnecessarily and were extremely expensive. Have never felt this way at Powerhouse - Jim is honest and reasonably priced. He has gone above and beyond for us a number of times, and we are so appreciative of his help. Highly recommend him to anyone!!

I was referred by a friend of mine who had work done here. So we took my sons car in a few months back with some transmission issues. Jim is much more than a service technician. He will do his best to keep your repair costs low. He has a large female client group and I believe it is because women do not feel like they are being deceived here. Incredibly knowledgeable about VW, Audi and Porche. Great service from a tech who cares about keeping you safe on the roads and not robbing your bank account to do it. He will take the time to explain what is wrong and why it failed and how to fix it. Rebook with him for your servicing and he will let you know what to expect on your next service so you can budget for it. Jim is the best in the city and will go see him for my service work.

Jim got me in not only extremely quickly but a day quicker then my first appointment with a different shop. Jim keep me up to date on the issue with the car and was very transparent about his costs. He also took a look at another minor issue for me and was able to give me very good feedback on what may be causing the issue ( plus provide a quote). After the car was fixed Jim noted that my bearing in my tire is going and to keep a very good eye on it. So overall him is everything you want in a mechanic. He's honest, transparent, quick, and really friendly. Thanks Jim for the service and I will definitely keep you in mind for future issues!

Jim is great and tells me what I really need to get fixed, will be fixing soon, and what isn't a big deal. He's a straight - shooter and I appreciate that. He also is good at understanding and answering my questions since I don't really know anything about cars.
