The grooming technician was professional and was able to handle my 95-pound dog as well as a few smaller dogs in the facility. The technician trimmed my dog's nails, and when I was ready to pay, she said there would be no charge. She mentioned that she only needed to do a couple of his nails and was grateful for the service. I will definitely be returning."

15622 112 Ave NW, EdmontonOur dog Mattie came to Jenny with her coat in bad shape. Mattie was attacked by two loose roaming dogs in March 2023. Her wounds were so severe that she needed to be shaved down from her shoulders to almost the tip of her bushy tail. After surgery, she was very traumatized and would not allow us to brush her. She is an Australian Shepherd and her undercoat grew faster so she had a very matted coat. Jenny patiently spent her time with Mattie earning her trust. She saved the two buckets of fur that she took off our poor pup. We could have made a whole complete dog from the excess fur. This week we have set four consecutive days of heat records so my pup is very grateful for having the relief from so much fur. Jenny gave me tips on how to gently maintain the brushing and try to keep the shedding down. As we were leaving, Jenny said to us, “Now that we are friends, the next grooming will not take so long.” My husband thought she was talking about us, but I feel that she was talking to my dog. My dog looks like a show dog from the American Kennel Club now! I was very impressed by her work. Jenny was very professional and she took her time to talk to us to carefully explain that she is only able to go the speed of the dog. She didn’t want to give my pup a further trauma. I absolutely love this woman because she took such good care of Mattie. She did such a beautiful job on removing the mats and in cleaning her paws and trimming her nails. I showed pictures to my family and they couldn’t believe the transformation. Thank you Jenny! Even if you were talking to my dog, you will have me as a friend for life.

The staff can read dog body language well, adjusting their approach to ensure my dogs feel safe and secure. I really appreciate their efforts to check that the waiting area clear when we come/go, which helps my pup who is fearful of strangers. Their understanding of both health and behavior makes what could be a stressful situation so much easier!
We see Dr. Amy, she has been thorough and attentive, listens to my concerns and never makes me feel like I am being “too much” for asking questions. I appreciate the time she takes with us and her treatment recommendations have greatly improved my dogs' wellness and daily care.
In addition to vet visits, we've participated in training classes (online and in person) and private fear-free sessions, all of which have been game-changers. No skin to out stitches in as it's so thin. Tracy the tech have me solid advice that saved me $100 or even up to a $1000 which I was quoted earlier by another vet. Superficial wound looked after properly will heal on its own and very hard if impossible to stitch in that area without causing more harm. Thank you Tracy, I will bring my animals here to your location from now on!! Thank you for not ripping me off, taking the time to listen to my situation and coach me through what needs to be done. Bark Busters In-Home Dog Training

Since that time, we have put Carol's suggestions to use and Carl has been a different dog! We are still only a couple of weeks out from training but we are amazed that he has stopped pulling on walks and we have been able to stop any barking after just one bark. We are still working at stopping at it before it starts but it has been so much better! We are still a work in progress when meeting other dogs but that too has shown progress! 7715 69 St NW, EdmontonMy (now senior) dog has been going to See Spot Run for quite some time, and when I got my young fella, he joined the pack as well.
For my young guy, daycare was a wonderful part of learning appropriate social skills in a safe setting, figuring out how to be away from home and away from me, and enjoying being with a variety of dogs. His time at daycare helped immensely with housebreaking and crate training.
For my senior dog, she gets a couple days a week of low-key socializing to break up the monotony of the work (for me) week.
Overall, play is well supervised and dogs are group according to size, play style, energy, etc. Problems are nipped in the bud and managed well by professionals with years of experience in dog behavior and training.
Whether or not your dog attends daycare, there are also classes available, including basic obedience/life skills, agility at all levels, and scent detection. I have done pretty much all of them at one time or another and very much enjoyed the classes.
I appreciate knowing my dogs and I are in good hands here.

Saving Animals From Euthanasia Team Edmonton Society (SAFE TEAM)
4610 97 St NW, EdmontonI adopted two cats in December 2017 and didn't think to do a review at that time. Today I read a review that bothered me and now I will provide an honest review of dealing with SAFE Team. We have a wonderful organization to save animals that many people feel are "disposable". It was wonderful dealing with them and I provided an update as per my contract with them. We still have our beautiful babies. In response to Reanne Cafaro's negative review with all her troubles with a roommate and thus laying the blame on SAFE Team for removing the bonded pair of cats --- I say good for SAFE Team. For once someone is looking out for the cats and making sure they are safe and cared for. Our animals don't have a voice and I'm happy that SAFE Team did not tolerate any excuses and removed the cats. All those troubles are on you (Reanne Cafaro) and you don't visit those on either the cats you adopted or SAFE Team. I find it hard to believe that after adopting those cats as you say "barely a month in" that you had not even one thought that your roommate was problematic. You should have brought the cats back to SAFE Team explaining what happened and once you cleaned up your act, SAFE Team would have housed the cats until you could pick them up and bring them back to a better environment. SAFE Team has the ability to house your cats for a temporary timeline, they have a lot of resources. But you didn't do that. It's easier for you to blame everyone else except yourself. I will commend you on one thing -- that you did not allow your roommate to take one of the cats.
