Nice people but 3 trips back to get the right parts is more than frustrating. It’s been a while since I dealt with NAPA, use to deal with them regularly when pulling wrenches. Now it’s way too much hassle. I was given rear rotors when asked for fronts and wrong alternator belt. These aren’t complicated parts and it sure drags out a project when having to keep going back… Now the store is closed so I can’t finish the job and instead I have time to write reviews.

I have been to this Roper road store now a couple of times and was served by an employee by the name of Gerry. I have an expensive import and was given incorrect advice at another store that has caused problems in my vehicle. Thanks to Gerry at Roper road Napa I can still drive my vehicle and it is running well. He is a very Patient man who listens to his customers and guides and helps them in a very professional manner. He is a wealth of Knowledge and seems to know more about Vehicles than anyone else I have spoken with at other parts stores. I will always go to this store from Now on and he has definitely turned me into A Napa customer. " Which I wasn't before " So....if you have any questions about what parts you might need for your vehicle or actually...even some great advice on keeping your vehicle in top shape, go see Gerry at the Roper road Napa auto parts store. He saved my vehicle. Maybe he might save yours as well.

Ordered parts online, picked them up at Roper Road location, went home and found that one of the parts was used, called the store to let them know that I will be coming back to exchange it, drove back and politely and cheerfully greeted Gerry (clean shaven service rep, not the bearded Gary) but to my surprise he was very condescending and unwelcoming, talked to me very rudely, had a very pronounced attitude of not wanting to help and seemed absolutely disinterested in wanting to help. Gerry's expressions, demeanour, attitude, body language, rude and arrogant behaviour made us strongly suspect that he doesn't like working at NAPA.
I have rarely seen a person as rude as Gerry in a business working behind the counter treating customers like trash. There is nothing professional about him.
I asked to see the manager, but I was bluntly and curtly told that the manager was not there and has stepped out, however he gave me the manager's business card.
NAPA should fire the store's manager because the rude and arrogant behaviour of the staff has to do with the manager's incompetence to promote a work culture of noteworthy customer care and service.

The parts we ordered were ready for pick-up in a timely fashion. At pick-up, I found Gary to be incrediebly professional and helpful.

Called today to order a part. Got a lecture from one of the staff members; that I need to order parts online an not over the phone, then he hung up. Great service. I've been ordering parts over the phone for as long as I can remember. I'm not to computer savvy do to my cognitive disability I suffered from my military service. I have to return my break caliper for the core refund then I will never step foot back into that store again.

Pretty much like Bumper-to-Bumper, in that they seem to only want to service their regular business customers and have zero interest in growing new business. Checked a price on a PCV valve and they were $60, identical part on Amazon was $18. I can wait 24hrs for that kind of savings. These parts stores are dinosaurs, you’ll only find them in rural areas in a few years.

Always get my automotive parts from here. Good location
