I purchased a rebuilt transmission for our 2007 suburban. I believe the final invoices was between $3K - $4K. Within a few weeks we had to take our vehicle to a local mechanic for a heavy vibration. It was a transmission problem. The torque converter failed. That was supposed to be a new, rebuilt component. We brought it back to Mr. Transmission and it was fixed without issue. Then, about a year later, but LESS THAN 15,000km on the new transmission, it failed altogther. We took the vehicle to a local mechanic (who correctly diagnosed the first problem with the transmission) who advised that "the oil is completely burned, which indicates a complete failure of the transmission." It will need to be replaced again. The failure happened outside the 1 year warranty period, but again, with less than 15,000, km on it. We were expecting the transmission to last the remaining life of our vehicle. Since then, I have been trying to get help with warranty and a plan for fixing it, including quotes. Chris, the person I have been dealing with is evasive and difficult to get a straight answer from. I perceive that I am out of luck and out many thousands of dollars. Our experience with Mr. Transmission has been very difficult and expensive. I will not deal here again, nor would I recommend that anyone shop here. I am left feeling that the transmission put into our vehicle was entirely defective (we know the torque converter was - we just happened to catch that defect within the one year warranty period) and that Mr. Transmission is not really concerned about our situation at all. Our experience has been about as bad as it could possibly have been.

I would never go there back. I took my car there. The arrangements was to check if it's a transmission problem in no cost and go from there. It suddenly changed and ended paying $1500 just for the shop to take up transmission apart. I told the guy that I don't mention name here that it was dishonest for them to charge me anything while the arrangements was to confirm if it's transmission problem and go from there.i would recommend you to get there service in future

Gagandeep, the guy who helped me is amazing. He checked the transmission and didn’t even charge me a single cent as there was no issue with the car the right place the right guy please and I recommend everyone to go if you have any issues Mr. transmission and see him

We brought our Rav4 to Mister Transmission after receiving contradictory diagnostics from the dealership, The two people that helped us out were thorough and direct with their review of the car and plan moving forward. They didn't jump to the most expensive solution and found smaller steps to solve the problem.

I have a 2010 RAV 4 that revs and then shift gear for a while coz other shop cannjot figure out what to do. Looking on google and found this shop with awesome review and said to my self i have to try it. It did not fail me, the guy (forgot to ask the name) ask me what was wrong, i told him. he test drive it when he came back he said what was wrong and the problem was gone. This shop could not recomment enough, you have to go here whenever you have transmission issues, you will not waste your time like other shop. Big thanks, to you boss.

I cannot recommend them enough. Wes went above and beyond to get my vehicle up and running. I got in quickly after the cold snap without hesitation. He kept me informed during the whole process.
